Enjoyed our time there. Nice campground. Pool wasn’t open sucks, store closing early and the assortment of need items was slim. Very little snack foods and camping supplies. Kinda pricey too!

The only thing I didn't like was the sewer hookup at our site (528). The end of the pipe for it was 2 feet off the ground. So I had to raise our hose to get the gray/black discharge out and down your pipe. This should be make to be ground level. Other sites I noticed were properly at ground level. But the rest of the campground was great! Will definitely stay again!

Cool campground with lots of camping options from full shade to full sun. Tons of activities for kids. Good location for visiting the Columbus area.

Stayed 3 days over Memorial Day weekend with my wife,son & daughter in law so we had a place to stay for the George Strait concert. Was a really nice campground with lots of things to do, especially for kids. Would like to take our grandchildren here when they come to visit this summer.

Spot 715 needs graded. So uneven. Right side slopes 8-10 degrees. So bad my 2 left tires came 12 inches off the ground.

Definitely a nice campground! We had our granddaughter stay with us the first night. There were lots of kids activities for her to do. The campsites are easy to get in and out of. We rented a golf cart to see the whole campground which is really nice. You have sites that are near the pool, playgrounds, in the woods and that are away from everything. We will definitely be staying here again!

I really want to love the Sunbury KOA again, however you keep making it hard to do. We stayed 8 times in 2022 (25 total days), so we have lots of experience. The pool was out of service more than it was in service in 2022 and now for 2023 Memorial Day it’s out of service again. Grounds and buildings are not getting the attention they need. This is KOA corp owned…please invest capital soon!

Enjoyed out stay as many times before. Although the landscaping was not up to usual grooming. Noticed weeds and trees growing in flower beds. Some trees were fairly tall.

Everything exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the Hayles cabin and the only negative is there was a swarm of bees on the porch at all times so unfortunately we couldn’t hangout up there and had to rush inside but other than that, we had the best time!

Beautiful park with tons of kids' activities. I've already recommended Sunbury to 2 families with kids! It was quiet while we were there during the week. It's very clean and we maintained...will be staying there on our way home and in the duture!

This is the best KOA campsite we have seen. The campground has expanded over the past 4 years and is very organized. Plenty of activities for the kids. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. We have stayed here for the past 4 years and will most certainly return in the future.

Great staff. Friendly and helpful. Playgrounds definitely made it enjoyable for the kids. Was truly wonderful experience staying. Coming long way from Ontario Canada. Was worth. And we hope to be back if not this year next year for sure. Thanks From The Clarks

The site was very level and lots of shade trees. Very dog friendly and lots of area to walk. Pizza was great! Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful Campground! One of the best KOA Campgrounds or Campgrounds period we have stayed at. Very well laid out sites. Plenty to do for the kids as well as adults. Clean facilities. Lots of weekend activities for the kids. Sites well maintained and pretty level. We are already looking at booking here for another weekend this year. You won't be disappointed.

While the campground has always been great, it is not being maintained as well as it used to be. Our premium campsite had weeds and no mulch where it used to be and we were initially assigned as site in the 700 area which was so unlevel we had to change sites. The prices have also increased sharply with us having to pay $140/night for our stay which may account for why most sites were empty.

Excellent and friendly staff! Camp sites beautiful and clean. Bathhouses clean and well stocked. Delivery service is amazing (firewood, propane)!! Food trucks, activities all top notch! Love everything!

Our assigned site was washed out but they assisted us with another selection. We were very pleased the 6 days we stayed. This KOA has a variety of things for the kids and dogs to have a good time. Most we have ever seen!

very pretty place, well maintained and equipped. The campsites come complete with outdoor furniture, concrete patio and a grill. You could make this a destination . going to Dublin would take 40 minutes. To Columbus would be at least an hour drive. They have shady campsites but transients get stuck out in a field in the sun

The absolute best KOA we've been to. We loved our spot back in The Backwoods. However, the campground could use some improvements. Pros: - Huge campus with variety of spaces around lake and in wooded areas. - Zipline, jump pad, disk golf, and other toys for the children. - Petting zoo, lake, and nature trail. - Office staff friendly.  Let us receive our packages - a huge plus for us! Cons: - Speed limit not enforced.  This is true for the long-term residents, weekend campers, and maintenance/work campers. Some work campers in their personal vehicles are going way too fast including a gold minivan that is at least going over by 4x - 5x the 5 MPH limit and kicking up dust and neglecting safety of the kids playing nearby. - Maintenance lacking - many unmowed spots and areas (like some of the disk golf course), random trash throughout the campus.  We finally had to clean up the garbage in our site and in the woods behind us.  Just walk around the campus on foot with a few garbage bags and you'll be surprised how much you can pick up. - Major rotting tree in our site that needs to be removed immediately before it becomes a disaster (yes, we informed a maintenance worker). - Nature trail needs major maintenance including whole trees and tree limbs across trail making parts impassable, not to mention the muddy/boggy areas. - Black widow spider in our electrical box - The Backwoods area got quite loud last night we were there with many campers including some unruly ones.  Also, there was an RV where they were clearly smoking the good lettuce, if you know what I mean. 😉 - Overgrown tree branches need to be trimmed back as they were scraping our RV on the way out in a few areas. All-in-all we had a great time and plan on returning.  I hope these suggestions help as this could be an absolutely stellar experience with just a few, easy improvements.

Feels kinda weird using a Hotel list for a campground but rooms=site I would say it was excellent. They have obviously done a lot to keep the sites up. Wood composite Adirondack furniture was at many of the sites and all that we saw had concrete patios. Service was great. Greeted with a smile and friendly faces. Location - hard to beat a location like this in the middle of God's country. It was quiet and easy to get to any of the nearby attractions.
