We LOVED this park. Very clean, friendly staff. The small store has anything you might need. Beautiful to walk over the bridge and see the river flowing through the park. We also loved that the city bus comes to the park and takes you into town for free. Our only recommendation is to possibly mow the grass in the dog park so it is easier to clean up after your dog. We will be returning!

Beautiful site. Fantastic views. Very friendly staff. Out dogs could swim in the stream that was right behind our site. I’d come back again! We always get a patio site. It comes paved with a table and 4 chairs, plus two Adirondack chairs and a grill. Fantastic.

Beautiful spot, staff was extremely kind. They contacted us when the wind picked up to save our awning from being destroyed. Free bus line runs often to get to town. Would love to come back!

The only problem was when we were going to check in we had to wait until 2:00pm exactly! We were 40 minutes early and had to go back outside and wait. Our campsite was already vacated The staff said that this was a new rule by the new owner I’ve been going to KOAs for years and 1st time I encountered this

A very long story but I will say the staff is great with the exception of Cal the General Manager. When so many things go wrong I would think you would be a little more accommodating. I didn’t screw up my reservations your “computer” screwed up. We left early which was the best thing for us. I will be sending an email to corporate to explain the whole situation after my vacation. Thank you.

The facilities were good and the park was kept very tidy. Great location and we loved having a patio w/ fire pit, chairs, table etc. The toilets/showers although clean, were dated & need to be updated to be in line with the rest of the park’s standard. Only real complaint had nothing to do w/ the park itself, but w/ the fact we had a family group near us that was very loud & inconsiderate.

We wanted to be close to Steamboat so the KOA was perfect. The only negative was We felt the trailer spots were too close together. The staff was friendly and helpful. The grounds were well tended. I did not see recycling.

Excellent staff. Clean grounds. Lots to do. Great location. However, they charge an extra $25 if you arrive even an hour before check-in. It seemed unreasonable since our site was vacant!

Too many xtra charges for us. The most expensive Koa we’ve stayed at,then xtra for 1 grandchild to spend the night,xtra for 1 pet,xtra for visitors, and the $9 for small container of mayo from the store we probably can’t afford to return. Some employees were rude, the guys who ride around in the golf carts were mostly nice. This was our 4th koa this summer none were like this one! Nice place t

Things have really gone downhill with the new management. We've been staying in cabins K3 and K4 for the past five years. Never, ever have we been charged a fee for early check-in! This time we were required to pay a fee for arriving twenty minutes early and were told it was a decision of "new management." All well and good - policies change. Also, no more chairs at the cabins like before.

My husband and I prefer a quiet camping experience, however, realizing July is top camping experiences for families. The facilities were wonderful and very accommodating. Thank you!

Very busy campground. We traveled with 3 other RVs and stayed for the second year in a row on the new side across the river. From last year we knew that there were no trees, however no trees had been planted. The grass?? Is dirt. We were told that it had been seeded but that seems doubtful as with the wet spring there should have been some growth. No rugs so we tracked dirt in constantly.

Horrible day of travel and limped in with a brake issue. Happy to just be off the road. Unfortunately, 13 minutes early and told that we would be charged $25 or we would have to wait, plus move our camper out of the way. Also, KOA website botched our reservation and left off our kids. You would have thought we were trying to smuggle Jews past the Gestapo even though we brought them in with us.

We had an amazing stay. Our camper site was very nice and clean. Loved all the amenities and the river access. The campground is well kept and well run. Very nice place to stay. Will be back.

The campers are packed in too tight. We were worried that we could not get out because the campers take up the pad space then the cars park on the street. There was no room to get out but thankfully the car on the street in from of us moved and we inched out. Very stressful and I won't come back to this KOA again.

Tent camped along the Yampa River - peaceful, quiet, clean. A nice bus into Town is a big plus from other KOA's we've stayed at. Friendly, helpful staff.Clean restrooms and showers. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location for a one night stay en route to our final destination in Wyoming. Pleasant, clean, well maintained site, nice friendly folks in the office. Would stay again if in the area.

Overall good. Clean, fun place. Wish dog park Area was bigger-there’s plenty of space and that there were defined walkways to dog area and river so you Don’t feel you are walking in others camps to get there.

Our truck broke down on the way to campground. We called to say we couldn’t make it on Friday night . Camp host was really mean and still charged us for all 3 nights. No sympathy. She overcharged us for a bag of ice and was very hostile and unfriendly. Not the best welcome.

Very accommodating staff. We had to move sites and they were helpful in the process. Steamboat is a beautiful backdrop for this KOA Everything clean. A river runs through it.

Nice location and RV spaces. We just wish that they would add a Recycling spot within the campground. It is rare not to have recycling at campgrounds.

Our biggest complaint is. Your employees are grouchy, very short and snappy. We have been coming to this location every summer for many years and have never been treated like we were this time. This location is very unfriendly. Right from the start the two lady's in the check in office were grouchy and not welcoming. To the men driving around in their golf carts.

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Campground is kept clean. We really appreciated the Free Shuttle that has a pickup at the campground. We don’t tow a dingy behind our Motorhome so getting to downtown Steamboat Springs was very easy in order to Celebrate our 20th Anniversary.

Great staff. Bathrooms in main lodge are very small, needs to be updated with larger stalls and a handicap stall. Showers are also very small.

Was pleasant, don’t have little ones so a holiday is an overkill for us, we just sit and chill at the park. Wished we had a more central space scheduled for the trees, you saved the hot weather for our escape from the heat :) I do thank you & if we come back to Steamboat you’ll probably see us.

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
