Very neat and clean campground. Loved the dog park and 50% sale in the gift shop!!!!! The shuttle to town was a real addition that worked well for us. Office and ground staff all friendly and helpful. Just wish the pool had stayed open for a few more days!

I rarely give anything but 5 stars but we were not happy with being charged $25 for an early check in. I've never had that happen before. We spent 2 nights in Granby at a gorgeous Sun resort. We checked out at 11 and drove right to Steamboat KOA which put as at KOA at 12:20pm. One hour and 40 minutes early and they had available spots, we even upgraded as a nice one was available. Very nice. Love the new Island upgrades and cabins. It appears that work is probably still planned for the cabins.......gutters needed for roof water run off. Employees were very nice and helpful.

Nice campground. Beautiful river! Very nice lady at the front desk (long hair). Nice playground. Bikes for rent. Spots are close to each other but the view of the river is great. Bathrooms need new shower curtains- some have mold on. Other then that great place to stay!

Good for a KOA. Once checked in the staff was very helpful. Arrived 45 minutes early and was assessed a $15 early arrival fee when the campground was half empty. "It is the policy" Also not enough washing machines in the laundry.

This is an outstanding KOA with friendly and accomodating staff who bend over backwards to help you. We stayed in a deluxe cabin and only wish it had a toaster oven or oven-there was plenty of appliances for coffee but not so much for cooking. The location on the river is serene and peaceful day and night. Place was immaculate and store had everything you could possibly want.

The staff at the Steamboat KOA were so kind and friendly and personable. Always willing to help out or have a quick chat. My wife and I really enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

The landscaping was more weeds and dirt then grass. Three of the days we were there, the internet, cable and WIFI were turned off during the day. They were doing some construction on site but didn't give us any warning of them being turned off. The location was on the towns bus route do it was easy travel to town.

I usually love staying here but the internet and water kept being turned off. The staff knew but couldn’t even be bothered to let anyone know. Happened 3 times. Each time more than an hour

Mostly buddy sites with no privacy at all. Electricity was out as well as water being off multiple times without notice due to major construction we were not made aware of prior to arrival. Very inconvenient. The staff was marvelous but overpowered by a noisy, dusty campground under major expansion. I will not book here again.

It was a very nice KOA with a friendly and helpful staff. The scenery was beautiful and there was lots to do. My only complaint would be the fact that the campsites were so close together.

A favorite stop - can always depend on great staff, shady and ample sized sites, scenic, dog friendly, with lots to do (and that’s without even leaving the grounds.)

Unless you pay for a deluxe site you'll most likely be in a cramped outdated space. We were stuffed into a site that was to small for us and had no room to park our truck. The employee that escorted us to the site told us the sites were made before the travel trailers got so big.....we have a 32 foot trailer and I really don't consider it large. We will not be returning. Friendly staff tho!

Stayed in a cabin which was clean. Brought a fan because there wasn’t one in the cabin. On the river, fairly close to the main building. Clean bathroom, several amenities, very nice staff. A couple of nights, a neighboring business had extremely loud music playing from about 8-10pm.

Staff is super nice! We also learned a lot about how seasonal staffing works. Generally, people were very quiet (there was one door slammer near us). Spots are super tight...after the construction is done, we hope this will make more room. WiFi was mediocre (weak during peaks) and could used a boost. Our neighbors brought two cars and couldn't fit them; he never pulled the truck up to fit.

Everyone was so nice and helpful there! Very clean and very relaxing. The only problem we had was when I phoned to make the reservation. I stated that we would be staying in our connect van and they said no problem. We got there and told that we could not, the town itself would not allow it. So we were lucky they had a cabin available for our stay, although it cost us around $30 more.

Great upgrades for RV's. Not really a tent friendly campground anymore, there are only 17 tent sites and they are very close together. It was very noisy being only 10 feet from the next tent and you could hear even quiet talking. The bathroom facilities desperately need to be torn out and redone, they are small, dirty looking and there are no toilets next to the tent sites for small children to u

Previous KOA manager camped next to us on our 3rd day; who's dog barked until PAST midnight. Told to remove our outdoor rug (along with our neighbors who had an autistic child who was playing on theirs). We were told at check-in not to put rugs over new grass...our spot was ALL dirt. He was VERY rude. Probably won't return to this KOA.

The cabin was perfect for our family vacation and very clean! The kids enjoyed all the activities at the KOA and we were so conveniently located next to the river. We all can’t wait to come back!

Unfortunately, my frustration is determining my review. I was under the impression I had a reservation for a KKabin ,I made that morning. In Steamboat around 8 :00 PM to find out my reservation never went thru. 4th time in a month I made KOA reservations online. No problems. Ruby in office available cabins w loft sleeping or $260./ $300. tiny house. I took $260. very overpriced. Rent RV $15

Microwave oven didn’t heat food and KOA solution was to tell us to try more time. Manager at checkout not very friendly. Maybe should have offered some adjustment to our $300 per night stay?

This park is an excellent place for star gazing. I also like the ability to take the FREE Steamboat Springs shuttle all over town. It appeared the campground was hosting visiting tourist on bicycles. I loved my stay. Thank You for a wonderful vacation

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
