Absolutely loved our mini cabin on the river, so much that we stayed an extra night. Grounds were well kept and clean. The heater in the cabin didn't quite keep us warm one of the nights but otherwise everything was perfect.

Everyone was very nice however very noisy with workers constantly using power tools throughout each day. But it was clean and the staff was very helpful

We stayed at Steamboat Springs KOA for the first time and absolutely loved our stay. The staff is amazing. They are very helpful, nice and would stop in their golf carts to give our dog a biscuit. It’s the type of place that we felt very comfortable and relaxed from the time we pulled in and lasted for our entire stay of 8 nights. Conveniently located for shopping and hiking as well.

The Steamboat Springs KOA is nice for that type experience. It is right on the river. It is very clean and handy for laundry, showers, and good for kids with activities. The sites are too close together and lack the beauty of camping we typically enjoy. We do like access to free bus to take you downtown to Steamboat. One front desk lady was difficult and unflexible. Others were good.

Stayed in one of the new cabins, super clean and had the stuff we needed. The view out back and being near the river was very special. The staff took great care of our large group and needs.

Site 98 was awful. No shade, no grass at the end of the loop with kids riding bikes around us like a race track. Not worth $105.

Nothing on the website tells you about the extra charge to bring your pet. Also the $25,00 to check in 45 minutes early?! Money grubbing owners who dont know what good customer service is. We will not be returning!

Had our family reunion there, 21 people ranging from 4 years old to 68 years old. Cabins were clean, camp sites well maintained and there were a lot of activities to keep us entertained. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The shuttle to downtown was very convenient. Everyone had a great time!

We had originally reserved a tent site but the day we got there it was pouring rain and the attendant was nice enough to look for a cabin that would be comfortable for me and my family. Everyone there is super nice and felt welcomed. Out of the many KOA that we have stayed at you all are in our top 2. You all are doing great. Keep it up. Will definitely stay longer on next trip.

Sites are very close together in shaded area, When I say close together I mean I could walk out my door and be in the next spaces campfire. The new section is much better but also much pricier. It is close to town and was nice to be able to catch bus right at campground for free.

Awesome KOA ! From the friendly, helpful staff to the location scenery. We had a site on the island across from the tent sites and a view of the river.

office closed early on our arrival day, but check in information was available and we were able to locate our cabin easily. stayed 1 night in cabin with loft. loft was hot with no apparent way to cool it. Happy to find cooking facilities in the cabin. Bath houses clean. Staff friendly.

Really nice campground close to town. Stay in the new part and due to the river you can’t hear the road. The campground was super clean and had a nice warm pool for the kids.

We stayed 2 nights here and we had a great site by the river. Peaceful to hear at night! The staff was so friendly and helpful! The showers, restrooms, and laundry were clean!

Beautiful campground with lots of amenities. My son had a camping spot and I had a deluxe cabin-both were awesome. The cabin was cleaned and well-maintained, with kitchen supplies, toilet paper and soap. Staff were great, contacting us to give details for late check-in. Store next to office is great!

Great option to stay in town in the winter. We travel in our Sprinter 144 and there are not a lot of options for stealth camping in the winter. On one of our nights the temp dropped dramatically and well below the forecast. Woke up with a nearly dead battery and some diesel that was gelled. The staff supplied me with a trickle charger and a propane heater to point towards the undercarriage. Got the engine running in now time. The guys there helped me out big time.
