This platform sits directly on the banks of the Snake River and is a wonderful spot to watch a sunset. Overlooking the river and the 100 year old Joso railroad bridge it is a great place to relax. Feel free to bring a lawn chair and a cool drink or your fishing rod while you watch to the sun go down.

Hiking / walking trail

Walk from your campsite at the KOA and you can easily access this wildlife habitat area from our park. This open high desert plateau follows the Snake River. Open country and game trails make this an easy hike and is great for family and pets. Mule Deer, birds of prey and ground squirrels may be seen. Ask for directions at the front desk!

Meet Your Hosts

"A bad day on the river is better than a good day at work!"

Angela & Jim met while working for resorts in the great Northwest. They decided to try it for themselves! Angela's background in accounting and a culinary degree from Scottsdale Culinary School is a great fit for all that goes on at this KOA. Jim loves the outdoors and worked every where from Princess Cruise Lines to remote lodges above the arctic circle. Phyllis, Angela's mother, is now mostly retired but previously spent many years actively involved with campground operations. Jim & Angela love to visit Belize in the off months so any other travelers out there "let's talk!"
