We have justified for years the higher rates at Costanoa because of the amenities, until recently. We were very sadly disappointed to not be able to enjoy the Cascade restaurant like we have before due to the limited menu and staffing issues Also the Pine Tent pizza and atmosphere were not available either. We were given different explanations for both and zero compensation.

Had a wonderful time as usual, enjoyed a dinner and a lunch at the Cascade restaurant (best clam chowder we've ever eaten), and the timing couldn't have been more perfect when my husband and I both came down with COVID symptoms during a rainy day. We'll be back to poke around to see everything we missed out on during this trip.

We have stayed at Costanoa KOA about 5 times during the past 8 or so years and have always enjoyed the facility without any distractions or difficulties. Our most recent stay we had difficulty leveling our trailer due to the uneven space creating difficulty with a septic hook-up higher than our outlet and nearby campers playing their music far too loud; the restaurant also had a very limited menu

Beautiful and well maintained camping resort. The staff was friendly. Having a quality restaurant within the resort was a bonus. We are already talking about returning and a longer stay.

We ended up at Costanoa after meeting Sam and Kyle at Salinas. After completely selling us on this location Sam went on to help us book an exceptional site. They both treated us as old friends when we arrived. Kyle directed us to a beautiful hike, and pointed out some great local beer and wine selections at the general store. We felt so welcomed and had a memorable and wonderful time. Thanks S&K!

Beautiful location and very well-maintained! For those of us who love glamping, it was an extra perk to have a spa and restaurant onsite. This definitely has taken a place on our list of favorites!

It was a weekday stay, so very quiet. I could tell this would be a place families would love: paths to beach, playground, pool. I’d come again for a longer stay to hike & really enjoy everything there.

The best and most beautiful KOA we have ever stayed. The flowers everywhere are amazing. All staff completely friendly and knowledgeable. It’s truly breathtaking. I look forward to our 2 more stays this year. I’d rather stay there than in a fancy hotel. Amenities beyond words.

Off leash dogs, poor restaurant. Pine tent closed. Upset that the website lists dog breeds that aren’t allowed, however i saw a few of those breeds at the campground. The campground is going down hill.

I had a nice stay. The campsite is over 100 dollars a night and some are over 200 dollar a night which is ok. Check in time is 2pm out is 12 noon, but if you come a hour early it is 10 dollar fee even if the site is open or to park anywhere on the property. Fee rich. Had dinner at the restaurant, which was good. Bought things at the general store which was nice

This is one of our favorite KOAs we like that it has many amenities. You can also hear the ocean at night if theee is not a lot of campers

This is the nicest KOA we have ever experienced. We reserved the premium RV site and enjoyed the upscale barbecue and fire pit on a paved pad. We were shaded by two large trees and utilized the grassy green behind and in front of our site. The entire facility is clean and well groomed with beautiful flowers everywhere. A restaurant and a store are on site. We will be back!

This place is awesome but on the expensive side. The pull through lots are too close to each other, otherwise they rest of the campground is well kept and very clean. Thanks.

Had a wonderful time. Enjoyed the updates since our last visit: Wi-Fi boosters (thank you!), beautiful garden plantings throughout facility, new fire rings, and text alerts of activities for kids. Really enjoyed the tie-dying!

Beautiful park in a beautiful location. Tons of amenities for almost all interests. Park was very quiet and restful overnight. There is a bit of a hike to get to the ocean, but for us the stay was great.

The stay was excellent. The facilities were great (full hook ups for RVs (we stayed with our RV)), great restaurant, great store with lots of things available for last minute 'oops, I forgot'. The firepits were great, the BBQs were so convenient, as were the chairs, tables. The grounds were well kept. If only the 6 grounds workers didn't start talking and working at 8 am right next to our RV).

Our site was not level and no amount of correction on our part could attain full leveling of our rig. We did however get close enough to reach an acceptable level to be able to sleep comfortably. WiFi was not sufficient to even send photos within texts! We didn't have a raised patio-firepit, but ones near us looked inviting. The cleanliness & location of the park are the reason for 4 stars.

The sewer dump is higher then the parking pad. The sites are so narrow you can open you storage door planes rubber the side of my rv and sketch it. Every disappointed.

We had a great experience. Staff helped us change our spot since we did not fit in the first one. We really enjoyed all the grass areas to play with the dogs. The only drawback is how narrow the sites are, makes it hard to sit around the fire pit and not be in the rd. So trying to find a few more options for our rig with the dogs may be a challenge in the future, but still coming back soon!!

We have camped for years in many places,, this campground is exquisite. Manicured everywhere you look. Hikes, beach across the 1. The restaurant is very good! Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and general store is a bit expensive, as well as the spots to stay in. But it is the most beautiful campground I have seen and worth it.

Our campsite had an ocean view, bathrooms and showers were very upscale, campground super quiet, very decent restaurant, staff Sam and Kyle were amazingly friendly and welcoming! Grounds keepers stopped and chatted like old friends. Very resort-like.

This is my happy place. Ground ate always meticulously maintained and the staff is on it! Everyone there from the grounds personnel to checkin to restaurant staff are super friendly and helpful and you are literally across the street from the ocean that you can see from everywhere! It's a little slice of heaven on earth! 🤗
