The place is immaculate clean. It is mainly an overnight stay RV park right on I-35. The sites are very spacious and the late night check in process is a breeze.

We really like stopping at this KOA when going to Port Aransas, TX as it about halfway between on our journey. Staff is very helpful and friendly and will go out of their way to help you out. On our way back one time, after a long day of driving, they were very accomodating by allowing us to get a pull thru site instead of the back in we had reserved. We really like it here and will be back!

Scheduled to stay just 4 nights but ended up having to stay 16 nights due to a truck breakdown. Manager was GREAT! She keep moving people who were scheduled for out site as a result of our truck failure and was doing it on a day to day basis with no problem. She kept space between us and most of the over nighters so that we didn't feel closeted. She was ALWAYS ready to help.

Everything, the bath houses, the pool, the playground, the lots = immaculate! The staff at the office were very kind and helpful and the maintenance crew was always at task. I will definitely stay again!

The campground, pool, and laundry were nice. Room between sites. Of course, need some big shade trees from this heat in July. But we knew that it was hot in Texas. Yes I would come again. Great location for us to visit family and friends.

Very friendly hosts. The sites are very level so much so that we don't have to do anything to level our RV which he is always a blessing. We have always enjoyed our stay at KOA Sanger and intend returning soon.

Due to the recent birth of our twin grand kids, we recently had the opportunity to spend several weeks at this campground. During this time, our schedule was very fluid and we had to keep extending our stay. The hosts were very accommodating and were very nice to deal with. We even had a minor problem with our rig and the staff helped me correct the issue quickly. We will stay again!

Was a wonderful facility. Quiet, respect for curfew. Appears well maintained. Bath house was clean. Well lit. Secured with passcode locks. Would be a great place to return

As always the site is super clean. The slots are level. The grass is full and manicured. It is a beautiful spot. We know after a hard day of driving that we will have no issues in this campground. Thank you so much for that.

Most sites are pull thru and are concrete pads long enough for large rigs. Stay here often especially when I am having work done on my rv. There is a large rv dealership with maintenance next door making annual service convenient. Plan to stay here again in the future.

The improvements made to the park in the past year are great. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. We stay here a lot. They seem like old friends now.

Granddaughters first camping venture and they had a great time! Swimming pool clean and close. Went fishing next am and both girls hauled in lots of fish! Ample space between pads, more than many KOAs. Electric power kept up, even though it was in the 100s most of our stay. Far enough off I35 to not have highway noise, but still easy to find.

We didn't really do much here. However, that wasn't at all as a result of the campground. It was mainly the heat kept us inside. The staff was awesome. Even sold me some ice cream at closing time. They also called me after we left as they had found a chair at our campsite after we left. Fortunately, it wasn't my chair but I thought it was cool they called me about it.

We were camping in Colorado when we received a family health emergency call from the Denton area . When we arrived we chose the Sanger KOA. We checked in and spent the next week at the hospital in Denton saying goodbye to a dear family member. The KOA worked with us on a day to day basis so we could keep the same site without having to guess how many days we needed to reserve like other RV Parkes.

It was a very nice campground with paved sites, easily accessible to 5th Wheels and Motorhomes. We did think it a bit unusual that there was no host on Sunday and it definitely could use a few more large trees. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay; just wish it was closer to family in McKinney, TX.

We had a great time, it was very well kept and the entire team were very welcoming and helpful. The location had a fun 4th of July picnic event and everything was provided. We met lots of visitors from all around. We will definitely visit again!

I realize this is a "Journey" and designed for overnight stays, but there's such a weird vibe with this KOA vs. others. Zero energy. The site was a wonderful length and there was plenty of room between sites. Just felt like I was in a parking lot with all the empty RV's. The mail situation was bizarre (some needed picked up, some brought to the site and just dropped on the step).

Very nice park and the people are wonderful. When other RV parks would not take our luxury camper on the back of our pick up this park did. I've already been recommending this park to everyone.

If your staying in a tent it's noisey,with the frwy very close ,and maintenance building with air compressor always running..it's a nice koa

This is a huge KOA, concrete pads, a little patch of grass. Very clean. The sites are large. You get a picnic table, no fire pit or grill. The bathrooms and showers are extremely clean, roomy. It's like you get your own personal bathroom with a shower, sink and toilet I loved it! Lots of hooks, shelves and benches to put your stuff. The laundry room was clean. My only complaint was no money changer, so we had to go back the next day when the office was open to get quarters. The outdoor pool was closed for the season. There's not a lot to do. I didn't see a playground, I did see a basketball hoop. It's kind of like a big flat field with concrete slabs..Which was fine. We were there to see the eclipse. The campground was packed, but very quiet. The office, the bathrooms are a bit of a walk from the campsites. We had to drive. I would stay here again.

Love staying here in our fifth wheel when traveling through. The park is bigger, very clean, and peaceful scenery. Wide concrete roads and lanes. A brand new Valero across the highway has all amenities - truck pumps are wide and front pumps large enough to accommodate RVs as well. Traildust steakhouse is 3 miles away for an excellent meal after a day of travelling.
