Located 1 mile east of Cedar Point Drive on U.S. Route 6 (Cleveland Road). PLEASE READ BELOW FOR THE BEST ROUTE.
Coming on the Ohio turnpike or from the west, Route 2: exit onto Route 250 North (Sandusky). Make a right on Perkins Ave(1mile) Turn left on to Remington Ave (1/2 mile) Turn Right onto Cleveland Rd/Route 6 (700yards) Turn left onto E Shoreway Dr (200ft) Make a Right into our campground (Look for the KOA sign and arrow pointing RIGHT) ~ATTENTION~ THIS WAY TAKES YOU THROUGH THE ENTIRE TOWN OF SANDUSKY, THIS CAN BE VERY CONFUSING....BELOW IS THE BEST ROUTE TO GET TO OUR CAMPGROUND
Coming from the east on Route 2: exit at Rye Beach Road. Make a left onto Route 6/Cleveland Rd. Follow Route 6 west for about 4.5 miles. We are located on the right-hand side of Route 6, just past Kasper Buick car lot. Turn Right onto E Shoreway Dr (200ft) Make a Right into our campground (Look for the KOA sign and arrow pointing RIGHT!!!). THIS IS THE BEST ROUTE TO AVOID TRAFFIC AND CITY TRAFFIC LIGHTS.

Cedar Point is the place to be if you are looking for an experience that gives you goosebumps and butterflies. This amusement park is home to 71 jaw-dropping rides that offer something for everyone. You can stroll along the boardwalk, catch live music and enjoy some tasty fair food, too.
If rollercoasters are not your thing, you can get your fill of excitement at the Ghostly Manor Thrill Center. While it is known for its year-round, nationally recognized Haunted House, you can also take advantage of the escape rooms, arcade, bounce house, indoor roller rink and mini-golf course!
If you are looking for a boost of good vibes, make sure you head to Lake Erie to stroll along the shore, stick your toes in the sand or hop in the water to cool off on a hot day. You can also go island hopping with Goodtime I for Lake Erie Island cruises and tour Johnson's Island, Kelly's Island and Put-In-Bay for a day full of excitement.
There is no better way to get to know a location than exploring its natural landscape, especially with kids. The Lagoon Deer Park is a fan favorite around here, allowing you to feed animals from around the world, including deer, llamas, peacocks and goats!
If you would rather watch wildlife from a distance, the city is full of places you can enjoy an uninterrupted view of nature. Some popular locations include Resthaven Wildlife Area, Pipe Creek Wildlife Area and Sheldon Marsh State Nature Preserve.
