We loved it. The cabin was perfect for our little family. There was a burn ban in effect but they had propane pit burner. I was still able to cook lunch for my husband. The restrooms/showers are great they have their own mini split in case the weather is hot or cold. The service was great, very nice and welcoming.

After an excursion in the Big Bend Back Country, we looked forward to the KOA. It was unusual for us to arrive so late that night, but coming with hospitality by the San Angelo KOA staff was welcomed. The cabin was cozy, the amenities were just right, and the late-night shower within a quiet setting was perfect! We stayed an extra night. Thank you! Catholiccamper.com

Very accommodating staff. Cabin was really nice. Bathroom was clean and close to cabin. The property was very well maintained.

Was expecting and told the had bathroom in cabins there is bathrooms in cabins the larger ones had someone who had a walking disability had book two nights stayed one no refound not good

Wonderful place for our family to gather for fun and fellowship!! Staff was well organized and helpful and accompanied all our different arrival times. We had several smaller family cabins around the playground and two big fully furnished cabins with bathrooms. Everyone from the babies to grandparents, and even great -grandmas had a blast.

Just an overnight stay. We were able to get checked in and get our key early. Our cabin was cleaned and ready for us later in the day. The restrooms were well stocked and clean. Overall property appeared to be well maintained and the staff were excellent.

Very friendly office staff and immaculately clean cabins. There is also a great two mile loop to walk with lots of natural beauty, wildlife, and a section on the lakeshore.

Stayed in one of the cabins overnight. Expensive-$90 for a night. Had to remind them to apply my reward points at check-in, despite it being clearly listed on my reservation. Got charged a $75 cleaning deposit. Six days later, and I am still awaiting my refund. I cannot remember the last time I was charged a deposit anywhere. Maybe a hold placed on the credit card, but not actually charged.

Our security deposits are stated on our website, at the time of your reservation you were informed of the security deposit charge, you signed the agreement at check-in, we always verify that a guest is requesting to use their points.

I stay at your KOA about 6-10 nights per year. I like the rustic atmosphere. The staff was fantastic as usual. I had another nice weekend at your campground but with the daily rates increasing as much as they are, it's kind of hard to accept one of the bathhouses not being accessible, no TV, and my cabin not cooling below 74 degrees. Ratewise, a hotel is starting to be a better option.

Great location by a scenic walking trail and the lake is around the corner. The facilities are well built and maintained. Excellent staff on site that are present and attentive.

The basic cabin was great and the air conditioning worked great in 106-degree heat. The bathrooms were very clean. Everyone was very pleasant. Loved it there so much stayed an extra night.

Was charged $60 for my ADA service dogs, was an additional $50 on check out. Called and was told it was an accident. Refunded the $100 deposit but they still kept the $50. Management was rude and invasive during our stay. Leered at guests the whole time we were in the pool. Watched us unload every item. Very nosey. Felt like prison. We will not be back, even though we go every year!!!

Very clean with super friendly and helpful staff. Good central location for day trips to military museums in nearby towns. Also has nice easy hiking trail with lake views.

I was greeted warmly and treated like a guest and not just a customer. Cabin was neat and clean and the bathhouse was in great shape and clean.

over charges for people that were visiting and not staying and wasn’t told there was a charge until after the one day i was there poor poor management and payed over 877 dollars and only refunded 300. will not be back and have been coming there for 5-6 years and my birthday was ruined because i felt very intimidated by the management there as it wasn’t described that you have to pay more

Fridge didn’t work. Wall pack heater wasn’t staying on it would short cycle. Had to put batteries in remote for wall pack.

I liked every about this KOA. Clean bathrooms, a 2.5 mile walking loop right next to it and cute cabins. There were deer everywhere! I enjoyed my stay.

Very friendly front desk staff, easy to book online. The campground was clean, well-kept and had great amenities. The deluxe cabin was perfect for my family and my best friend's to share with our children. We didn't use the propane grill or fire pit but would definitely try those out next time if its a warmer season. Conveniently located to everything in San Angelo. We will be back!

We stayed for 5 months as my husband worked a contract in the area. Very close to the city but with a remoter feel. The staff and management are always friendly, and helpful. You can see the care they put into this campground. They are always out working and trying to improve the campground. I believe all the sites work are pull thru which can be nice. Very clean facilities and park. They have 2 nice walking paths next to them. They offer site trash pick up, so convenient. The one thing I would say they could do is invest in some new dryers. There essentially is only 2 dryers that work properly. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend and if we are ever in the area again we will most definitely stay here!!

This was the best KOA we stayed at, they have a lot of activities for the family. We enjoyed the games, fire pits and the hot tub was so relaxing. We met some new friend's we will keep in touch with. Staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you for an amazing stay we will be back soon.

We stayed at this campground and had a great time! It was clean and the staff was very friendly. The kids enjoyed swimming and had lots of fun. It's downtown so it's close to everything and was very convenient. The showers were nice and warm. The bathrooms were very clean as well. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!
