Mother’s Day weekend in our 5th wheel. Plenty of space for us. Nice walking trails nearby. Sites seem to drain well, even with the 2+ inch deluge we got Friday night. With family close by, we will certainly be back to visit.

Everything was great! Everyone is very nice and the park is kept very nice. The only thing I wish was a little different is the pool hours. By time we got back from our event, the kids were ready to swim and they were not able to but there were adults in the pool. We were with them as well so it wasn’t an issue of not having an adult. To only have it open during office hours is not enough time

Short overnight stay. Unfortunately storms did not allow us to make use of campground facilities. We took a walk in the morning in the Christian Church property next door. There is an access gate on West side of property.

Overall, nice campground with good proximity to highway & town amenities. Lower score due to overly officious staff. Check in, new hire being trained. Senior staff doing training stood in front of me barking orders at the newbie & spoke about me in 3rd person w/o even saying hello. That night, driving back from town, golf cart chased down & chastised us for 10 MPH v. posted 5 MPH. Overzealous.

Stayed 3 nights for some personal business in a travel trailer. Pull thru site was short [had to unhook] but level and shady and very handy access to all hook-ups. Park is quiet and clean with excellent well taken care of restroom/shower area. Friendly folks doing a good job at their park made this a pleasant stay.

Troy and Diana were wonderful. Troy gave us a ride to pick up our rental car and Diana was always smiling and helpful in every way

Friendly escort to site even helped me line up RV door with the patio. Welcome stop for overnight, would have been OK for longer stay. Shade trees, even a few flowers, privacy shade between sites.

Your people (Park Mgr & her husband) were so very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and the use of the BBQ grill at the pavilion! We will be back in 6 - 8 weeks and stay with you again! Great Experience!

Michael was the only thing pleasant about our stay. He went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, he is very personable every campground needs an employee like him. The new “no pen” policy at the Koa in San Angelo is unreasonable, KOA promotes bringing your pets, if you can’t have a pen for your pets while sitting g outside then why bring them. They use to be allowed at this KOA.

Booked only day or so ahead, staff was so welcoming. Pool not opened, so bummed about that, as it was hot out. Ground level, area clean, though like most KOAs it was full (spot next to us was open for the one night we were there, so that helped it feel more spacious).

Easy access on/off major highway. big rig friendly, gravel sites, friendly, helpful management, park is clean and organized for easy entry/departure, enclosed) dog park. It's worth the extra cost for a premium site (#'s 60 - 71)in the back near the dog park. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They made a special effort to make sure our stay was great. The park is clean and well organized. We will definitely use this park on our next visit to San Angelo TX

We arrived after closing of the office on Thursday. The map and information were provided as promised. The new management has a better operating plan than previous times we have stayed at the campground. The accommodations were very good and we enjoyed the Angelo State baseball games with our grandson.

It's a nice getaway weekend place the only thing I didn't like it was in the showers they change to clear curtains most people like their privacy

Nice park have stayed there before Disappointed that as a late checkin the only sites available were the premium ones at 84 dollars a night. Thought that might be a little steep for someone just looking to park for the night, and not use all the amenities the site offered. Thank you

We were traveling from Big Bend leaving days early due to a major wind storm. The San Angelo KOA staff went the extra mile to accommodate us at the last minute and even though we had no phone service for more than an hour on the road they made sure we had a place to stay. With a need to extend for another night due to other storms they were able to accommodate us at another site. SUPER helpful!

To preface my review...we have been coming here a few times a year for 5 years and have never had a problem. The couple running the place now have NO people/management skills. They are the rudest camp managers I have ever run into in 27 years of camping. The previous managers have always been courteous and professional. I guess times have changed.

Great campground! No complaints, everything was clean and tidy. Also, thanks to the girl working the desk who called me and helped me make the safest travel decision during a tornado watch. Thanks!

Even though I arrived after hours a friendly staff member drove out to meet me to make sure I was good. Hot showers, dog park and a huge walking space and open area next door.

Catching up on helpful Google reviews from previous stays. I usually place reviews on Campendium for RV parks. ---------------- $43/night Stayed 3 nights Site #68 Stayed here end of Jan 2022. Would stay again. Campground WiFi: -Great wifi and able to work on vpn just fine. Cell/hotspot using booster: -AT&T (2 of 4 bars—4G) -Verizon (3 of 4 bars—4G) -Wish we could have stayed longer. -Staff was extremely nice! Peaceful neighborhood vibe among the campers and long-term residents. -Very clean campground. -Had a nice laundry room. -Site was really nice gravel and spacious with paver patio and fire pit. -Lots of space behind and between spots. -Close gas, food, and groceries, without feeling busy. Worth noting: Noise/Airport -It is near an airport and planes go directly over. So, if that bothers you, you may want to take note. Didn't bother us.
