Beautiful mountain views. Long pull thrus with plenty of room between sites. Lots of activities. Friendly, helpful staff. WiFi better than most other RV parks.

We did a long term stay which was over the winter and loved it. We stayed in lot I4, which gives the view of the Royal Gorge bridge and the mountains. It is so BEAUTIFUL! The staff was very helpful even though they are understaffed and we were able to have our packages delivered to the KOA. The overall experience was amazing and would do it again.

Some nice upgrades have been done, like landscaping and patio furniture at sites. Cabin was clean. However, there was no hot water for showering in our cabin. Mini golf course could use some improvements.

Enjoyed Royal Gorge area but campsite not so much. Booked a Sister site, very confining. Parking trucks out of the roadway a pain. Trailer on the other side was 4 ft away,we shared low water pressure. Even w/1 camper very low pressure. Couldn't use filter or pressure gauge. All the children we saw were having fun. Pool was ice cold. Most staff friendly.

There’s plenty of activities going on all day. We really enjoyed the view of the mountains around the campground. Very quite.

Lots of fun. Electric tent site was secluded and away from the loud family reunions going on. Camp activities were fun, though many started to be canceled by the time we were leaving. Pool needs to be heated! Otherwise, kids and I had a blast. We’ll be back

Everyone is very friendly and they keep you informed about daily activities! Lots of different sites, not all have shade. Pool is nice but very cold this time of year! Bathrooms are very nice and kept clean! �

Stayed 3 days. Great park. Great views of mountains from the park. Centrally located for Royal Gorge, river rafting and riding the Royal Gorge Railroad. Only 7 miles to Canon City.

Our stay at the Royal Gorge Canyon city KOA was outstanding. The improvements that we sing based on our history of attending this particular spot has been dramatically improved. Activities were great and the staff of the KOA was phenomenal. Continue to do what you guys do.

Stay was great! You could use a trash can in the pool area. Also the table and chairs outside the fence by the pool are useless. You could use some tables in the actual pool area. Bathrooms weren't terrible but the shower I went into in the women's bathroom was gross. Hair all over and dirt. Overall great experience

Very friendly staff. They went above and beyond to make us comfortable from delivery of firewood to needed items such as sewer hoses! I had to pay for said items of course, but the delivery of those items was a nice touch! Great job making your guests feel welcome.

The campsites are way to close to each other. Toilets were often clogged, no toilet paper. This was by far the worst KOA experience I have had to date. I will not be visiting this site again.

We were very impressed with the area for our pets and landscaping at our campsites. The owners have obviously spent a lot of time making improvements there and I appreciate their efforts.

.... Playground equipment is worn and old and dangerous. Pool was full of adults drinking and blasting music. Bathrooms were without toilet paper twice in our four day stay. Hayrides were cut short because staff for fun activities were double duty for maintenance. Parked us right in front of western town where activity after activity with no quiet privacy. noise not monitored after 11pm.

Great place to spend quality time with family. We did camping in tent with 2 small girls. They absolutely loved this place. The standout thing was how they maintained cleanliness. Their staff’s are always available to help. I will go back there again.

I had a small troop of Girl Scouts with me and your staff were wonderful. Joslyn, Nancy, and I think the other lady's name was Rachel (she delivered our pizzas) were so wonderful and kind to our girls and adults. The cabins were clean and beautiful. Our only concern was not having a stove and kitchen sink in one of the cabins. But we used the grills and the girls had fun improvising. Thanks

It was okay except the sites on the south side is extremely hard to get in and out of because of all the big rocks and we was signed up for a patio site but could barely walk between the slides on the camper and the big rocks the staff was very friendly and helpful

The staff was very nice and helpful. I didn’t catch all of their names but Nancy helped us several times. Kind to our children and we loved the activities they had set up for them. It was a very clean, maintained place. The sites were clean and well kept, as well as the bathrooms. Our kids loved the slide. We ended up wanting to upgrade our site which they quickly accommodated. Some of the staff was not friendly. Especially those running the slide. The rules changed from day to day and the younger staff was aggressive with our kids. Other then that we loved this camp ground

Stay was fantastic!!! Of course the best part was the beer/wine tasting :) I think having activities throughout the stay is a wonderful idea. And the text updates were even better!!!! Great job KOA, for sure will return to this location.

Had a wonderful stay at the KOA Canyon city Royal gorge! Staff was super friendly, and even came out to greet me in my car after my husband checked us in! The grounds were very clean and well-kept, no complaints whatsoever. If you could’ve controlled the wind it would’ve been super wonderful!

We loved every minute about our stay. The grounds were nice and well taken care of. The activities for the kids was great as well. This is one of the best! The staff was amazing. My only complaint was that the dryers werent working the last 3 days of our stay, I wasn't prepared for that and with us being there 8 nights we needed to wash clothes. We still loved our stay! Overall a great time

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
