Stayed in a Kabin-loved how it was stocked with items like a hotel! Enjoyed my coffee in the morning and the soft fluffy towels. Only problem was the porch lights didn’t work (cabin 401A). I informed the desk but no one came out. Also could have used another outdoor chair. Thanks!

Nice facilities, Staff and Sites. This was the fist K O A we had visited with "Paw Pens" for Dogs. They are fenced areas on the site, right by the camper and Patio. We stayed two nights to explore the area.

The only downfall was that the slide and s’mores were not happening and from your website it seems they are an every day activity. Other than that it had really nice bathrooms and lots of other fun things to do. Great putt putt course. Would definitely come back

Quaint little KOA with the unique perk of the giant slide. Although a more 'aging' KOA, the hosts were friendly and helpful, and the slide and playground were a hit. The pool was small but OK if you don't mind very cold water (not KOA's fault - it's just the climate in the mountains). Only complaint was our cabin didn't have any hot water, and price was high for that miss.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had an initial problem. Nancy was great troubleshooting our initial electrical panel problem with our A-6 site. Aaron was great fixing the electrical panel problem. We left while the fix was being done, but I could tell Aaron was going to fix the root cause…and he did.

Over the last 6 weeks we have spent 37 days in 12 different KOA campgrounds. Royal Gorge/Canon City KOA was by far the BEST campground of all of them. We enjoyed our stay, the staff and our site. Great job!!!

The front door of the cabin blinds were broken. Someone stole 2 bundles of firewood but the KOA employee replaced them free of charge. Our cabin was grossly hot when we arrived. We turned the 2 a/c units on and luckily brought a fan with us.

No picnic table at the site, wifi wasn't working and the road to the site was terrible to walk and drive on. It was dangerous walking to the bathroom. Also the bathroom was too far away.

Never got refund, sewers backed up, pool green slimie, poor management, laundry facility not completely in service, no tv or spotty Wi-Fi, powers goes off, loss of water,back with black residue, just unclean in store area with no air conditioning

Sites weren’t bad, nice landscaping and beautiful views. Power went out a few times, laundry was terrible, water clogged our filters for camper. Pool was very dirty and had green algae. We did not use. Was supposed to get a discount for giving us the wrong site, but still haven’t seen it. Campground could be great if they updated a few things.

Staff were friendly and accommodating. Facilities were clean. Absolutely loved the proximity to rafting and zip lining. Dining at White Water Bar and Grill a must.

Pool was merky and dirty, chairs at pool were dirty. Picnic table broken and dirty. Wasn't impressed with the final checkout when I asked what the other charges were and the attendant didn't have an accurate answer. Didn't know said they used to charge for the slide but don't any more...who knows. However, the bathrooms were clean and staff was very nice and accommodating. Scenery great!

The koa was nice. It was particularly nice that it was pretty empty and so we weren’t sitting on top of people. With our long 5th wheel (42.5ft) it was a tight fit. The staff obviously works very hard to keep this koa looking nice. During the day you could always see someone working on upkeep! The kids loved the slide and playground. This was one of my favorite koa experiences so far.

We stayed here for 11 days while we toured the area. The staff, especially Sarah K, Nancy and Aaron took great care to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Sarah and Aaron would stop by our site to say hi and make sure there were no issues. While the big rocks in the lower section can make it a challenge for larger RVs to navigate, the direct view of the Royal Gorge bridge and mountains is worth it.

The campground needs some maintenance. The picnic tables at the campgrounds the boards were falling off. Looks like they need new picnic tables. The RV pads weren’t very level. The laundry room didn’t look very good. The washing machines were kind of old. This wasn’t a cheap campground. I feel it’s not up to koa. standards. The trashcan was overflowing. Stay was good. Campground was nice. Pool had issues so filter never worked the entire time we were there. Kids wanted to do the "hay ride" and everytime was told it wasn't working, yet we would see people driving the tractor around that was used for the ride. Kids were told certain hours for slide and yet were told something different by slide attendant.

Friendly staff! Beautiful campsite with a lot of activities. Sites are large with picnic tables and fire pits. Quiet and peaceful at night.

The hours were limited for campers. No opportunity to get ice or water, plug-ins, no options for connecting with others. The atmosphere was not very friendly. It was not fun! And, I would highly recommend cleaning the pool area and making it more hospitable and clean. Only kids and families hung out there because it wasn't very clean or fun to connect--and it was really great to have a pool.

Beautiful location but the trees need to be trimmed. I was on a premium site 2 and had to trim branches so I could put out my slide. I also had to trim the branches that were touching the roof. Maintenance said he needed a chain saw to trim them and other things to do. I trimmed with wire cutters. On my way out, branches hanging over the road scrapped down the side of my new, painted, RV.

All the kids' stuff is great, especially the events like the movie/smores night. My kids loved the playground, pool, mini golf, and big slide. The employees were kind and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Enjoyed our stay. Would have been nice if A/C had be turned on prior to our arrival. Also it would have been nice to have a list of activities with times provided.

We stayed in the Camping Cabin the first night and had some electrical issues in the cabin. We informed the Management of the issue and they took care of us and let us move into a nicer cabin that could fit our whole family of six people. We are very satisficed with our stay and would recommend the cabins as they were nice, clean, and very comfortable. The mountain view were spectacular!

Everyone was helpful and friendly. It was nice to have the slide and mini golf on premises. We used the shuttle service to go to the Royal Gorge train station. Showers were great. I would suggest that the shower needs a lower mirror available. The golf course needs to be repaired.

There was a little snafu with the Glamping Tent but Nancy and Sarah got everything figured out and turned our stay into a great experience. We'll be back. Wonderful place, so many activities and fun for my grandkids.

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
