We rented a tent space, no grass/sand pad, just dirt and some crab grass. Our particular site was right next to the leech field and had tons of red ant hills all over it. The swimming pool was literally green but instead of closing it, the kids at the front desk said they were telling folks to "swim at their own risk". Bathrooms were super clean. Overall, the park is too congested, NO privacy.

Nice campground next to Royal Gorge. Would recommend over some of the other KOAs in Colorado.

The camp site was perfect with what appeared to be a new remodel. The dog pen was well built and the adjacent patio with table and chairs was perfect for our stay. The Staff was friendly and VERY helpful. The whole adventure was great. One minor pain was the dump site receptacles at our site were too high to allow for our trailer to drain properly. We simply moved to empty site to dump to drain

Pool is dirty, wifi WAS HORRIBLE but proximity to gorge and other experiences was great.

The camping areas are level, clean and well spaced. The Koa staff were not friendly nor did they check a camp site after a camper left the site. A large family reunion group created a large loud disturbance and were partying until 1:00 am in the morning. This occurred during the last two nights that we were there. To my knowledge the staff did nothing to end this problem.

both of the rating would have been a 10 and a 5 if I didn't have to fight the overgrown tree to hook up my water hose. I had to back out of my pull thru camping spot because of another overgrown tree. That is always fun to do in the dark when leaving. these trees just didn't get overgrown in the last few weeks. Otherwise the staff was very friendly and helpful for our other RV's.

around the pool area there were ants everywhere. was hard to sit in the chairs as they would be in you clothes and towels. were very annoying. camp was very clean otherwise. .

Sarah and Denise were absolutely fantastic at helping us with all of our needs when we first arrived there was someone at our camp site and Sarah made sure that we got a spot that had shade and was close to the restrooms as we had two 7 year olds with us. We used the shuttle service they offer for our train ride although it costs it was great my kids loved the big slide and the playground and pool

I did not get the name of the girl who went above and beyond on the day of my arrival, but she had long hair and feather earrings. She went above and beyond to help me find the right spot for me. I was not comfortable with the bunk beds in my original location, since I was traveling alone and this person personally showed me different options for my stay. She made me feel as though I was family.

We brought our 7 year old granddaughter who needs a lot of activities and she enjoyed it here, It was hard to keep up! The view from our site was one of the best we've experienced and we enjoyed the nature trail for bike rides and dog walks. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic location! We stayed in a deluxe cabin. The full size mattress was very thin. Luckily it was just the 2 of us so we stacked the bunk bed mattresses on top which made it much better. Longer/darker curtains would be nice to block out the morning sun. We enjoyed the activities (horseshoes, mini golf and slide).

Very tired looking park for the rate charged. Our site (D4) was not very level and had to use more blocks than normal to keep tires from "free wheeling". Lots of kids roaming throughout the day (and night) without a lot of supervision - noise level after 10 was more than we would expect.

The staff were amazing and very helpful. I booked a 50amp site but was moved to a 30 due to a request by others in my party. They did their best to try and get me back into a 50 but were unable. They offered a refund of half a night as compensation. The sites were clean, pool was kept up well. My daughter loved the activities they had available. Overall it was a good time.

We had a spacious pull thru site for our 40 foot 5th wheel. The tree on the site provided great shade. The restrooms were clean, grounds well-maintained and friendly staff.

There was mold on the shower curtains and benches where broken in the shower stall Some of the toilets would not flush and some of the toilets where out of toilet papper The put put golf course was not maintained we had to remove sticks and debris from the course The big slide was showing wear sings in it the potato Sacks where all ripped up The swimming pool was not well maintained chemic

We hold A family reunion every year, this is the first year at Royal Gorge KOA-. The customer service was amazing, the facilities were great, and the people were incredibly friendly. We are wanting to book for futures, ASAP. Thank you so much!

The spot was nice we had room for all of our stuff. We also enjoyed all the extra activities that were available. We will definitely be going back.

Our site was almost too small for my 35 foot 5th wheel, even though assured it would. The site was covered with puncher weeds full of thorns! Very uncomfortable for anyone to walk on and they clung to your shoes and transferred to the trailer constantly. A little maintenance could solve this nasty problem.

As peaceful as it gets this time of year. Stayed here beginning of April 2024. Pull-through FHU 50 amp. Dirt/gravel pad. Pavers, landscaping, and very fine gravel/sand mix fire pit area. Site #B12 General: 1) Very quiet and not many other campers this time of year. 2) 5-7 min for Royal Gorge Bridge Park and overlook picnic areas. 3) Spacious sites and not too close to neighbors and their hookups (many are a touch short but still work well) Campground WiFi: Worked pretty well. Conducted Zoom meetings and able to work on vpn. BUT that is mainly b/c the park was fairly empty. Cell/hotspot using booster: AT&T (3 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Verizon (4 of 4 bars—4G). Able to work on VPN, Zoom meetings, and stream. Details: Check-in: Site assignments posted on board. Office hours limited this time of year. Sites: Dirt/ gravel pad. Fairly spacious sites. Site 19: Was not our site but we noticed that the patio side connects directly to laundry and restrooms, so folks seem to forget their manners and cut through that site's patio spot. Campground Road: Dirt road but too not bumpy. Grounds: Clean. Bathrooms/Showers: Clean and well-maintained. Laundry: Worked well. Location: Gas, groceries and restaurants are in town 10 min Near highway: The KOA is slightly off of a main road so there is a touch noise during the day. Near train: No
