Meet Your Hosts
"We love our campers to tell us they're impressed with the cleanliness of our facilities and the friendliness of our staff."
"We want to 'scream clean!" say campground owners Steve and Terri Klontz of the Redmond/Central Oregon KOA. "We love our campers to tell us they're impressed with the cleanliness of our facilities and the friendliness of our staff."
Steve and Terri Klontz have been in the campground business for years - as brokers of campgrounds being bought and sold. The Redmond/Central Oregon KOA is their first experience as on-the-ground campground owners; they've owned the KOA Kampground since Memorial Day 2008. "We wanted to learn first-hand what a new buyer goes through, as well as have a place to use as a training ground for potential new investors. It has been very educational."
The Klontz's sons have joined them in the campground brokerage business, so the whole family stays busy. Terri is the 'project queen,' so she will not be running out of projects on the campground any time soon. If they do find any free time, the Klontz's like to spend time on the water.
