Polson's Flathead Lake Cherry Festival, held on Main Street, is fun for the whole family! There are more than 125 vendors, homemade cherry pies, unique arts and crafts, cherry pie eating, stem tying, and pit spitting contests. Enjoy sidewalk sales and local Montana made wares.
Come and enjoy Live History Days at the Miracle of America Museum on Highway 93 in Polson. These two fun filled days feature demonstrations by blacksmiths, spinners, quilters, weavers, carvers, artists, potters, bead workers and others who also let visitors try their hand at the crafts. Rides are given on vintage motorcycle side cars, military vehicles and antique autos and tractors. Numerous old engines and tractors operate equipment including a feed grinder, rock crusher shingle mill and more. The 23nd annual Flathead Lake 3-on-3 tournament will be on Main Street in Polson on July 21, 22 and 23 with 300 teams. Summerfest is a new 3 day festival that will include a car show, art festival, food, music and much more! This festival will expand on the Crusin' by the Bay car show which features more than 500 hotrods, customs and classics.

The annual Rotary Chili Cook off will be held at Riverside Park. Cooking begins at 8:00AM - Youth Games 10:00AM - Judging for people's choice at 12:00PM. Make sure you purchase your raffle tickets to help the Jr golf program. Tickets are only $25 each or 5 for $100. There are 6 prizes to choose from: $1000 in cash, $1000 in groceries, $1000 in gas, 300-350 lbs of cut beef, a wine cellar of a minimum of 60 bottles of wine or two 2016 season golf passes to Polson Bay Golf Course. This is a 2-day event, Friday 5 to 11:30 p.m. and Saturday noon to Midnight. The Festival will again take place at beautiful Salish Point on Polson Bay (on the shore of Polson Bay between Sacajawea Park and KwaTaqNuk Resort).

The Flathead River Indian National Finals Tour Rodeo will be held at the Polson Fairgrounds with nightly performances at 6:30 p.m. This event features some of the best Native American cowboys and cowgirls throughout the United States.
The public is invited to join pilots at the Polson Airport for an exciting day of aviation activities, beginning with a pancake breakfast at 8 a.m. Watch as visiting aircraft arrive and land. View some fantastic aircraft from home built, vintage, war birds, float planes to general aviation aircraft. View static demonstration aircraft of Life Flight, watch things fly from Model RC aircraft to skydivers. Over 100 aircraft and pilots participated last year.
