Our park is in the heart of the Moss Landing harbor, a magical sea life wonderland. Your special neighbors are sea lions, harbor seals, otters, pelicans, sailing ships and whales. We offer a little bit of something for everyone. Take a scenic nature tour through Elkhorn Slough, one of California's largest coastal wetlands, or catch a chartered whale-watching cruise out of our harbor. A vision of seaside Americana, Moss Landing is a place where you can catch or buy fresh fish straight off a nearby boat. Or you can walk to one of many wonderful restaurants surrounding our location. Shopping at the local produce markets for fresh-picked artichokes and vegetables or touring the town's antique shops and art galleries provides a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. Come for a day and you'll want to stay for a week in Monterey Bay's most hidden secret getaway!

Please join us for spontaneous jam sessions. Bring your instrument, voice or just your ears and a smile. Led by Blue Ocean Whale Watch Captain Jim Davis around the campfire at our OHAU gathering area. These events are WEATHER PERMITTING of course.

Local Attractions
Monterey Bay Aquarium
Be one of the nearly two million visitors to the Monterey Bay Aquarium this year. Home to more than 550 marine species from penguins to jellies to coral, the aquarium is only 30 minutes from the RV Park. Watch the sea otters at the Monterey Bay Aquarium.
Elkhorn Slough Safari
Take the Elkhorn Slough two hour boat tour and see playful sea otters, harbour seals and many species of waterfowl and migratory shorebirds.
Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Amusement Park
Located in Santa Cruz, 30 minutes north of the our park, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Offers great carnival rides as well as games, shops, miniature golf and more. The family-operated Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk celebrated its Centennial in 2007. As one of the last of the great seaside amusement parks in the United States, the Boardwalk gets better every year. Historic Monterey - Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf
Once the heart of Monterey’s canning industry, Cannery Row is now a bustling shopping area. There are more than 150 stores located along the six-block stretch of Cannery Row. The variety of distinctive specialty items makes for an interesting and fun place to shop! Fisherman’s Wharf is lined with seafood restaurants, fish markets, art galleries, specialty shops, candy stores, a theater and fishing, diving, sight-seeing and whale-watching charter and tour companies.
John Steinbeck Museum
John Steinbeck is one of the best-known and most revered American literary figures. He won the Pulitzer Prize for his novel Grapes of Wrath (1939), highlighting the lives of migrant farm workers in the Salinas Valley, and was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1962. Seventeen of his works, including Cannery Row (1945), The Pearl (1947), and East of Eden (1955), were made into Hollywood movies. The John Sreinbeck Museum is a must see for all Steinbeck fans.
Roaring Camp Railroad
Roaring Camp Railroad A 45 minute drive gets you to the train station in Felton for a trip back in time. Board the Roaring Camp Railroad's steam train and embark on a 90-minute journey through redwood groves to the top of Bear Mountain. The Beach Train takes riders on three-hour tours of redwood forests, across a century-old steel bridge, and through an 1875 tunnel and to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
Gizdich Ranch
It’s “always kid season” at Gizdich Ranch. This fourth generation family ranch has “Pik-Yor-Sef” berries and apples, a Farm Park, antique and gift shop and picnic areas. Enjoy the fresh country air as you take a walking tour. Free Admission. Located in Watsonville, just 15 minutes to the north. Spend a day with your family at our family ranch and breathe in the fresh air and countryside atmosphere. Pick your favorite fruit of the season right off the tree or vine; then, picnic among the apple trees and the hills. Take home a jar (or two) of fresh berry jams, and eat the best pies this side of the Rockies!

2012 Castroville Artichoke Festival
The 2012 Castroville Artichoke Festival will be held on May 19th and 20th featuring large and colorful parades, two days of live music, agro art competition where three-dimensional fruit and vegetable artwork is presented by participants, farmers markets, and field tours. Other activities include arts and crafts, artichoke souvenirs sales, wine tasting and cooking demos. Castroville's Artichoke Festival also offers children activities including games, face painting, clowns, stilt walkers, puppets, and more.

Moss Landing 42nd Annual Antique Street Faire
On Sunday, July 29, 2012 starting at 7:30 am, this Antique buying event is one of the most eagerly anticipated outdoor markets in California. You can browse thousands of antiques and collectibles for sale in hundreds of booths and 5 permanent antique shops. You can find a full range of antique items from art and glassware to books and furniture. The day is kicked off by a pancake breakfast, and the afternoon has a wide variety of food booths with local items such as a fish fry, artichokes and strawberries plus burritos, sandwiches and hotdogs.
