Horrible experience at this location. At first we saw the restrooms and thought that it was nice but staying at the cabin was something else. It was infested with bugs everywhere. My son and I tried killing as many as we could before going to bed but they were still coming in from all the crevices. Felt disgusted. Never again.

I stayed in a Kamping Kabin for one night - it was pretty clean and had AC (which was much needed!). The campground facilities (bathroom, office, grounds) were clean and well taken care of and check-in/out was easy. The area around the perimeter of the campground could use some work, including the tent campsites (they were behind the Kabins and open to the street).

Clean facilities. Great amenities. Nice tent site. Quiet campground. Great base for visiting Black Canyon.

My reserved site was 'switched'... but That worked out. It was very handy for us to camp with you while visiting the Black Canyon of the Gunnison and Silverton Colorado.

Very kind check in staff. Made sure our small pup had a home baked treat! Pool open . Great relief as it was 93!!! Space pull through with big trees for shade very welcome relief. Clean showers and bathrooms. One night no need to un hook. You can walk to a yummy Mexican bakery/market. You can also walk to a delicious BBQ restaurant and bar with patio outside. We would definitely stay again

The tent, camping area was extremely hot with barely any shade throughout the day. Something needs to change there .

We stayed for several days to take in the local attractions. The camp site was clean and neat. Laundry facilities were OK. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

The full-size mattress and boards underneath were very concave making it quite uncomfortable. There were many tiny beetles in our cabin. Some beetles got in our beds and disrupted our sleep, and we had the shake out all of our linens the next day. I would not recommend this site to anyone that plans to stay in a cabin.

Stayed 2 nights in site 4 in a class c. Had to use blocks to help out our automatic levelers. Park was nice and staff friendly. Enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

We stayed in the hideout cabin and it was not at all what we expected after staying in many other KOA cabins. Very outdated, dirty carpets, beetles inside, even in my daughter’s bed. Might stay here again in our trailer, but never again in the cabins. The hosts were very nice.

Spaces were generous. Hookups were easy and worked well. The gravel surface made leveling in our space annoying but not difficult. Did not use the laundry or restrooms. Neighbors were good. The location is pretty convenient for the south rim of Black Canyon.

Nice campground. The pull through sites were a little short to keep our towed vehicle attached during our stay. The location is convenient to downtown Montrose with a good selection of restaurants.

The pull through sites were not long enough for my 40' MH and Jeep to remain attached. Had to disconnect the Jeep and park it at an angle behind our coach at our site. What's the point of a pull through site if you can't leave your vehicles connected. None of the cable TV channels came in clearly. All were fuzzy and full of static lines. However, the internet speed was fantastic!

We stayed here to visit Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP. Nice level gravel sites, grass and some tree separation between sites. Very nice pool and hot tub that we didn’t use. Close to grocery stores and pizza/ice cream nearby.

Nice folks at check-in. Pretty level, shaded site. Usable cable really appreciated! Showers were clean, but pool was cloudy and needed attention. Quiet during night. Would stay again.

Clean and nice bathrooms and laundry. Nice long, wide sites. Near National Park and Montrose. Landscaping and the dog park could use a little work. Get rid of the junk stored along the back perimeter of the park.

We were accommodated well for a shady spot after spending two Sun soaked days in Moab. Sites are nicely spaced apart. Larry was very helpful in welcoming us. Two improvements to suggest: this campground needs a fenced dog area rather than the designated patch of vegetation along a canal for dogs. Also, larger or more trash receptacles as they were overflowing at the time of our visit.

Our grandchildren loved playing on the playground and the pool. They met nice kids there. Our campsite was adequate and appreciate the work they put into the park. Proximity to town was good. Thank you, KOA Montrose!

Big sites, some are shaded, clean bathrooms. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Plus close to Black Canyon NP

Park looks nice when you pull in, and rest rooms and laundry are kept up. But the park deteriorates the further in you go. Piles of trash. The walkway to the dog park is lined with junk. The dog park is pretty disgusting. Most of the RVers that had dogs refused to use it and just walked their dogs around the park. Even the staff recommended reporting the poor condition at the park.

We reserved a tent site, which was outside on the edge of the otherwise nice park. It was unfinished, and in what appeared to be a back parking/open area behind a strip mall nearby. Vagrants ride by on bikes and the whole thing felt very unsafe. we asked if we could move to a “finished” site within the park we were told no. Tents are not allowed inside the park. These sites should not be rent

Camp sites were tight, water pressure was very low, sometimes very low during peak times. Employees were very nice. Inside the city limits, but once there very quiet and peaceful. Heated pool and hot tub. Ice is available.

I like your campground but don't like the showers. When you shower because of the way the water drains and all the showers are right next to each other, you could be standing in someone else's shower water when you shower! Ick!!

I had reservations made in March, we get there and our site was taken and we had to have a crappy one right next to the main office. Then they charged me for propane fill up for the site we were supposed to have.
