The owners Mark and Steffany went way above our expectations. This is our second year to stay with them. They have made phenomenal improvements on everything. The store has a great selection of fresh merchandise. The bathrooms and showers are so clean! We stayed in a cabin perfect for a couple. We felt totally at home.

The hosts went way beyond to make us comfortable. We stayed in a cabin which had a small fridge, which was a nice bonus. Air conditioning units and a ceiling fan were nice on a warm night. It would sure be nice to have two chairs in a cabin that sleeps 6.

Stephany and Mark are marvelous ambassadors for KAO. Diligent, kind, thoughtful and hardworking.Responsive to each campers needs and shows love and direction to all.Both are full of smiles. Amazing grounds, well kept,spaced nicely apart with trees and bushes, easy access to the office, bathrooms, showers and water. Great sunrises and sets.My cabin could use a smidge of caulk, to slow the breeze SD

Always a great stay! Stephani and Mark are wonderful! It’s the perfect location for not only exploring Mitchell but also surrounding areas. We stay in a camping cabin with our dog. There’s a dog park and a lot of trails to take her on.

Stephanie and Mark do a fantastic job maintaining the grounds and being great camp hosts. The cabin stayed in was newly remodeled and it was perfect! Cold AC and a comfy bed. Fire pit and campground grill out front were just right for my 1 night stay. Mark helped me out in the morning after my car battery died-he went above and beyond! 10/10 will definitely be back when I take this trek again!

Best KOA I’ve ever experienced! We were greeted upon arrival by the owner with a friendly smile and a welcome. We stayed in an upgraded cabin, it was fabulous and very comfortable, and white glove clean. Campground atmosphere was phenomenal. The restroom and shower facility was spotless and smelled fragrant. This KOA is an example setter for all KOA owners to follow. Thanks for a great stay!

After an eventful day of sightseeing and traveling we arrived to our comfortable, well-maintained cabin. The bathroom and showers were very clean! The owners were very gracious hosts and extremely helpful. Upon arrival I managed to irreparably break my phone/gps they were able to help me locate and map out a phone provider close to my next destination (4hrs away). Very grateful!

Your KOA was lovely, clean and beautiful! I love that your info sheet said that you do allow guns on your premises!! The only negative for me was the scented smells. I am scent sensitive. I smelled scents in the store, laundry room and bathroom. I know the scent in the store was wax melts. I believe those chemical scents are toxic and I don't like to be around them. Thanks, Julie

We were super impressed! Bathrooms + cabin was super clean, never stayed anywhere that was that clean! VERY friendly staff, store has reasonable prices and was also super clean! Had fun activities to do for both kids + adults! I would highly recommend this to everybody! We did not want to leave! Thank you!

This has got to be the nicest koa we have ever stayed at. We usually bring our RV but this trip we took a cabin. Very nice clean new floors A/C bathrooms were immaculate with the showers attached above you like a rain shower. The staff is super friendly the store has everything you need including nice shirts and sweatshirts. You really need to see this campground it’s simply wonderful

Great campground hosts helping you with whatever you needed. I thought there was a pool, but it was filled in for a patio. Somewhat disappointed.. Super clean nice bathrooms and showers

Thank you for the review. Sorry you were disappointed in the fact we do not have a pool anymore. We had to remove the pool at the end of last year. If you saw pool pictures online, we can not control pictures on any travel website except our own KOA website.

Mark & Steffany were once again AWESOME. Been staying there for 5 seasons for pheasant hunting and every year is better. Mark has made a LOT of improvements in just one year. Cabins have upgraded power. Just great people running a great KOA. Will be back again next year.

Lovely campground that is immaculately maintained by the nicest hosts ever. Intended to stay one night but came back two other nights. Big thanks to Stephanie and her husband for staying open an extra week! P.S. nicest bathrooms you will ever find at a campground.
