Our campsite had dog poo right outside our door. We thought the site was too close to the next door neighbor, i waited to dump tanks untill he finished grilling his dinner. And the check in was rushed and rude.

Only one night, but the place is clean, the bathrooms are beautiful!! They are animal friendly, the owners are friendly, and helpful. A+

Wonderful folks running this place. Super clean and impeccably maintained. Hot shower and neat bathrooms. Laundry facility great as well. Gorgeous large shade trees. Best KOA we have camped.

This is the 2nd time staying at the Mitchell KOA. Nice sites, close to 90 but far enough away not to hear road noise, nice store, shower room is very nice and clean! The hosts were fantastic! �

The office supposes to close at 17:00 but at 16:45 already closed and we need some change for landry, Very desapointed

I think you are getting our KOA office hours confused with another KOA. Mitchell KOA hours at the time of your stay were 8AM to 8PM.

Friendly helpful staff, a lovely park with well spaced sites and a nice path around the site. Who could ask for more? Even storm shelters if the weather goes sideways.

Mitchell has the cleanest bathrooms in KOA's we have ever seen. Their female owner(?) is a peach and we love visiting with her.

Not sure of criteria for Holiday status but this place has to be close to it, I have seen Holidays (like Billings montana) that are not as nice. This RV park has owners that really go above and beyond to make it very nice. Can't think of anything negative to point out.

A really nice park. Sites are kinda tight but totally clean and enough room. Great area to walk dogs and a k-9 fenced area too. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Bathrooms were clean, colorful porcelain sinks and an amazing rainwater hot shower. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed ourselves a lot.

The best KOA we have stayed at. Mark and Stephanie were so welcoming and kind. We had truck break down and they helped us. Facility was clean and well taken care of. Would highly recommend

Very well kept KOA! Did an overnight stop on our way to the Black Hills, pulling 2 trailers and Mark did an amazing job to be sure we could get in a site without unhooking. Will be stopping again on the return trip!

Always a great stay! Stephani and Mark are wonderful! It’s the perfect location for not only exploring Mitchell but also surrounding areas. We stay in a camping cabin with our dog. There’s a dog park and a lot of trails to take her on.

You have the most beautiful, serene, and peaceful campground. We will definitely recommend and stay with you in the future. Anyone with dogs will enjoy the extra lengths you have gone to to give them an, enjoyable experience too!

I have spent a lot of time camping at different places (usually look for KOAs) but this one was the best ever. The owners were the most friendly people ever. Our friends had RV trouble and they were so accommodating for them. Helping them with a mechanic to help them out. The campsite was beautiful and especially clean. I would recommend this place over and over.

A beautiful spot. Great people, friendly, very accommodating and helpful. Very updated,neat and clean bathrooms. Perfect location. The grounds are beautiful and a really nice off leash double fenced dog area, incase your dog isn't sure about sharing space. We loved it. Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful experience at KOA - Mitchell! We were traveling late and the worker was there till 8PM and explained the process of night registration. He got there at 7:30AM and was as nice as can be! The campground itself was gorgeous - tent camping area was well kept and very flat - and the amenities were fantastic. Bathrooms had hot and cold running water and space beaters for the. chill. Very well-kept, well-stocked, and clean. And finally, the people were so kind! We would 10/10 recommend this campground - looking forward to staying here again!
