We welcome you to our friendly, family-owned campground. Camp with us and experience Midwest hospitality first hand. Enjoy large shade trees, landscaped grounds, level pull throughs, and cozy air conditioned cabins. Kids of all ages will enjoy our large indoor swimming pool, playgrounds, mini golf and super fun lo-rider banana bike rentals. You can even sign up for scuba diving lessons in the pool! Don't worry if you forgot to pack something, because we also provide a well-stocked camp store and a lovely gift shop. We will even deliver pizza to your camp site. We also offer Wi-Fi for those who prefer to surf the net in the comfort of their own camp site.

Located in the heart of Minnesota's Vacation Land in a quiet, rural setting, this is the perfect base camp for experiencing all that the Twin Cities has to offer, with plenty to entertain and delight the entire family. You can enjoy Mystic Lake Casino, horse racing, college and professional sports, theaters, conventions, amusement parks, museums, tours, zoos, fairs, the arts, boating, fishing, swimming, golf, historic sites and events, and much more. We are located within minutes of the Mall of America, Valley Fair Amusement Park and one the nation's largest Renaissance Festivals. Our campground has easy access to the major highways.

Mall of America / shopping

Shop until you drop at the Mall of America (just 30 minutes away), Burnsville Center a local mall that has over 150 stores, or try another local mall- Eden Prairie Center which also has over 150 stores. www.mallofamerica.com

There are numerous lakes nearby, and you are only minutes away from the Minnesota River and the Mississippi River.

Antiquing

Stonebrooke Golf Course

Stonebrooke captures the essence of Minnesota; lakes, woods, and wildlife. For the golfer, you'll find breathtaking views that provide the perfect setting for a round you'll never forget. Standing on the tee of the famous 8th hole, you look out at sparkling O'Dowd Lake. 260 yards across the bay lies the fairway. It's one of the most exhilarating shots you'll ever make. On the ferry boat ride to your second shot, you realize it's just one of 13 holes featuring water on this breathtaking course. Minnesota Zephyr: Your journey begins on the Minnesota Zephyr Railroad, originally built over 120 years ago. During your 3½ hour tour you can explore the train, enjoy the entertainment of Zephyr Cabaret featuring hit songs from the 40s and 50s. Metro Connections Twin Cities Tours: They offer tours of Lake Minnetonka which includes a steamboat cruise on the lake. They have a delightful tour that they call Twin Cities Features, and this tour has won the MN Office of Tourism Travel Award! You can enjoy their tour of Stillwater, the Birthplace of Minnesota.

Canterbury Park

Canterbury Park Racetrack and Card Club is a year-round destination. Canterbury Park is just 15 minutes from the campground. They have an 18,000 square foot card club that features 50 tables and comfortable seating with full bar and menu. The Race Track, Canterbury's one-mile oval is one of the finest in the nation. Sandy loam composition. Three chutes --3 ½ furlongs, 6 ½ furlongs and 1 1/4 miles. The turf course is a 7/8 mile inner oval that accommodates races at several distances. Chanhassen Dinner Theatre

Elko Speedway

Elko Speedway is a high-banked, 3/8-mile; paved oval track located 10 minutes south of Burnsville, Minnesota.

Foshay Tower Observation Deck

The Landing (formerly Historic Murphy's Landing)

Located on the scenic Minnesota River, The Landing is now owned and operated by Three Rivers Park District and depicts life as it was during 1840-1890.
