Enjoyed the beautiful grounds and setting. Ice cream shop was a favorite. Deluxe pads weee great. Enjoyed the grill!

We had so many issues during our stay. We told them but they didn’t really seem to care. Bathrooms often didn’t have toilet paper, soap or paper towels. They put us in the wrong tent site and then made us move which cost us 5 hours of family time lost. Someone charged items to our site, no refund given. Staff was rude. Kids throwing rocks at our truck, trying to start a fire and in our site.

The pull through premium sites are close together. The view described on the website indicates a mountain and tree view. A more accurate one would be “busy road, garbage cans and trees. It is not worth the price.

Saw site and left. Saw site and left. koa needs to monitor their parks better.Site so narrow and tucked between two cabins Rough uneven grave. park was jams with no relaxing camping experience.Just came from another KOA and had a positive experience.I will not stay at most KOAs from now on. koa needs to monitor their parks better

The facilities are wonderful and the family enjoyed all of the activities at this location very much. The sites however are VERY expensive for a campground. Extra charges for everything: ensuring campsites so that you are next to other campers in a larger group is extra, children extra, one person tiny tent - EXTRA. Nice facilities but not worth to outrageous cost. Bag of ice $4.50!!!!!!

Had a fabulous time! The campground was perfect for my three littles. We also had a blast participating in all the daily activities! We will be back!

Great stay would not recommend the Rv locations on the lower portion of the property. No shade and well away from any amenities. Unless of course that is what you want. Overall great location will travel there again next year.

The staff was amazing. I think the names specifically were Russ and Wendy. They were super helpful and made the stay that much better. Honestly the best customer service you’re gonna get. These people are saints haha.

Our visit was wonderful, we wished that we had more time to spend another day or two... I will definitely book another stay in 2024 for a few extra days... The staff were so friendly an very accommodating during our visit. We definitely give Leavenworth KOA a 10 gold star.. Thank You......

The campground was very clean and everyone was very friendly. Wish the pool had longer hours especially for kids who are excited to swim in the morning and when it is light out late in the smiler, such as 8am -9pm. The crafts in the text messages were not always free and wish would have known some of them cost money before deciding to go and get the kids excited about them.

Tenting Sites are very sandy and dusty and no privacy, not able to pre pick your site so given what is their choice Pool was good, cheap laundry services and nice newer bathrooms

Music on the patio with cider tasting! So great! Super clean, literally no garbage anywhere. Helpful staff and beautiful scenery. Easy access to the river. Best stay for my family!

We had such a great time! The staff was so friendly and on top of everything! We loved all the new added activities for the kiddos that weren’t offered last time we stayed such as the bouncy house, parachute fun and the trivia! We can’t wait to return in June 2024!!

Impromptu stay. I loved the location, close to town and the river. RV sites were too close together. Bring a longer hose, as the dump tank area is near the front of the sites. The KOA makes extra money selling longer hoses. Friendly staff, but slow to pick up garbage. The pool was closed for maintenance most of the very hot weekend. Great place to stay if you just want a close prox. To town

Thanks for your comments. We noticed you had a motorhome, camper van and extra vehicle which made your RV parking difficult. Resulted in needing 30 feet of sewer hose. Staff is awesome! Pool maintenance on Saturday was a required closure due to bio hazard containment. Happy Kamping!

Why are the tent sites so close to each other? I've been to other KOA, but we feel we're too close to other campers. I'd suggest lessening the campsite number, so we have some distance or barrier between other tents. Also, increase the number of bathroom stalls. Too often, we have to wait to get into the bathrooms.

Beautiful huge campground if you are ok being close to your neighbors and paying the highest rates I’ve ever paid to camp. We don’t mind and already made reservations for next month and next year. Definitely making it a yearly tradition.

Site was listed as grass site. There was only dirt. Site was barely big enough for our 20' trailer.

Sites are always busy and the seasonal grass goes dormant unless its watered continuously. That would be difficult since there is always an RV in it! Happy Camping!

Great and helpful staff. Need larger signs for the odd traffic entry change to the KOA driveway. Nice place, clean and probably the friendliest and most helpful employees we have encountered.

Thanks for the awesome comments! We understand the signage is small per Leavenworth City regulations. We try hard to help our arriving guests come thru the main entrance by sending a text message the day of arrival that has detailed driving directions to our KOA. Thanks again for the comments!

Loved our stay. The kids had an amazing time and thats the most important thing. There were a few things that could have been better. We done multiple koa’s and the tye dye at this one wasnt well organized. We left with shirt dripping of dye. Also we came across lots of extremely unfriendly staff. Was told we were getting a luxury spot and the only one left at $166. Was first spot entering the park so we got every vehicle going in and out. Site was dirt and dry. No shade whatsoever and not even near any trees. Was told to park in spot by area for taxi/Uber then yelled at for there. Grease or feces was on ground, got into new trailer. Disgusting. Was told intervener, not any! No Hot Spot!

Making your same day reservation for 1 night in peak season when we were a full park gets you a site that is available. Our staff worked tirelessly to make room for you to have a deluxe site. Your deluxe FHU pull thru was in the new section of the park which needs the trees to grow for shade.

I guess KOAs are independently owned, so the prices vary greatly. I no longer have respect for KOA, since some of the campgrounds charge whatever they can get away with, rather than a fair price. Paying $153.00 for a one night space, and that was after my senior discount, was a ripoff. I paid $90.00 in Reno and only $55.00 in Laramie Wyoming. I will now avoid KOA as often as possible.

Prices reflect the Leavenworth area in n peak season. All KOAs offer a 1 hour guarantee, including the your home state of California which have high demand and prices are reflected over $200+/nt not including electricity. You were lucky to find a spot as a walk-in on a weekend.
