The stay was great! Friendly people. Only problem was at night there was some theft going on. People coming outside of camp.

First time in Lava and we had a BLAST! Staff was friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Overall experience was excellent because we could float the river and exit right at our campsite. Only less than ideal thing was we had a water spigot right by our Motorhome door (folded our dog bed and placed it around the spigot so we wouldn't trip). Bathrooms were clean and seemed to be restocked daily.

Well my $500 electric scooter was stolen so that really messed our stay up. We were not the only people to have this issue either. Others in the camp were robbed as well. I really wish they had better security there. Anyone can walk in that place from off the street and take whatever they want. I love lava hot springs but this definitely left a bad taste in my mouth about coming back.

We are very sorry this happened to you. The whole town of Lava Hot Springs got hit with thieves, even the locals. The police were closely monitoring the whole town; everyone was on the alert to lock their valuables up. Even a small town gets hit with unfortunate events. It was very disappointing.

Stayed in a beautiful premium site on the river and had to listen to an extremely loud generator from a food truck at the pool from 10:30 am until after 8 pm every single day�Ϫ I called the campground office and was told they would look into it. Nothing was done. I called the pool and was told since the city does not have an ordinance regarding noise nuisances, they could not do anything. Beware

Our stay was 3 nights. Great location overall, close to the water park and main street shops & dining. But had passing trains blaring horns several times each night ( which is not the fault off the KOA ). Campground could do MUCH better job with bathroom cleanliness & maintenance. Men's main bathroom had inop toilet, ran out of toilet paper, ran out of soap, and had a broken toilet stall door.

We stayed in one of the camping cabins! Fun experience. Only complaint was that the ceiling fan in the cabin was filthy, so we were unable to use that to help cool the cabin in the hot July heat. Bathrooms were clean! Overall great experience. We will be back.

There was no hot water in the showers the entire stay. Everytime we told them, they said they were working. Our camp neighbors experienced the same thing. They should have just said,"we have a problem and are trying to resolve it instead of lying. I was there before 8:00 am and was told that probably all the hot water was used by others. Few even went in the bathrooms.

Sorry for the inconvenience. The water heater at the bathhouse by the cabins was intermittently not working properly for one day and was repaired by a plumber the next morning. Guests were advised to use the showers at the office until repairs were made,

It was great except the fire alarm starting beeping at 5 am. Not sure if the batteries are low but we couldn't reach it. Other than that the cabin was great and easy access to all the fun things!

Very clean knowledgeable about the area, directions things to do. nice camp spot. We'll be back! Great location next to the pool.

I have been staying there for the last 10 years and we love it. The only thing that really needs attention is the showers. I think you should have a 10 minute time limit for showers (automatic timers that shut off the water). The shower lines were extremely long

We are sorry to hear you had to wait so long. There are two different locations for showers. One in the middle of the campground and one at the office building.

The bathrooms are clean and nice, My reservation was messed up , I reserved july 1-5 and got a June 30-july3, No refund given for the day before I was going to be there and i had to leave a day early.

The two most basic things about lodging is a comfortable bed and a comfortable living space to unwind from a long day. The provided bed was the most noisy, broken, sunken in, most uncomfortable bed I have ever experienced. My neck and back hurt in the morning. Focus on the bed! That is all that matters even if everything else suffers also!

Great location, but disappointing staff. We arrive early 12:30 ish.( after calling the day before to advise )and the lady at the desk doesn’t not ask my name or check anything just says come back at 3.We came back around 2 and the younger staff were much more helpful and better customer service. The jump pad was flattened and nothing special about this campground. Town itself was cute.

We were not able to be camp next to the river like years past, but everything else was enjoyable and memorable. Personnel were very nice and accommodating. Look forward to returning next year.

The only issue we have is the train whistle blowing 3 times during the sleeping hours.

Originally we were assigned site T30. It is not suitable for a tent site. There is a natural spring and standing water. We requested to be moved and were a assigned a much better site. T30 should not be for tent camping. Other than that, the amenities are nice and it is a prime location in Lava Hot Springs

Sorry for the situation with T30. The natural spring is flowing more water this year than in the past. Drainage system improvements are under construction.

We have been coming to Lava for about 20 years. We have only stayed at your 2 KOA’s!!! So many great memories! There is usually around 30-40 of us. Some tent, some trailers and some use the cabins. Your 2 tent sites were awesome for our group!!! Please never change those! Thank you thank you for the beautiful campgrounds and memories!

most expensive KOA we stayed in over a 2 month period. Place is listed as "KOA Holiday", however there is no pool, no food, no amenities other than laundry, bathroom, showers. Oh yea...there is a river running through the property, but they do not rent float items. Owner has "Nazis" policy of 3pm check-in. No exceptions. BS. by the time you can get to your site the day is half over.

It's tight, people's trailers aren't getting any smaller. It's in a easily accessible location near the river which was nice. The people working there were very courteous and nice.

WE LOVE THIS PLACE! So close to town and tubing! The staff at the KOA is so fun and easy to talk with. We loved staying here and already booked it for the next summer! Can’t wait!

No the price was out the roof. It didn’t provide a pool because it was next-door to the Hot Spring pool. It is definitely a location location location spot.

We had such a great time. They were very accommodating when we asked to move sites where there was some grass. Definitely will book again next year. Staff was great, bathrooms and campsites were very clean.

Absolutely amazing staff!!! Had to change reservation cause of weather. They did not even hesitate to help or try to figure something else out. Will definitely be coming back here in the future.
