Chris Spencer, general manager of Las Vegas KOA Journey at Sam's Town, began his career with KOA in 2009. After his life in the automotive industry and owning a home remodeling company, Chris began work camping in his home state of Michigan. His career let him tour the states and opened doors for him in Texas, California, and now in beautiful Las Vegas, Nevada. With experience in maintenance, front desk, operations and management, Chris is the perfect fit for Las Vegas where every day offers something new. “Part of the excitement is the fact that there's something different happening around every corner and plenty of new people to meet, I was attracted to being able to travel the country and gain experience while learning what it meant to “Make It Great” at KOA's along the way”, says Chris. When away from the campground, Chris enjoys off-roading, walking nature trails, woodworking, and working on his vehicles.
