Off-road enthusiasts can access miles of trails right from the campground, and facilities for boating, fishing, river sports, hiking, climbing, mountain biking, golfing, skiing or snowboarding are just a short drive away.

Outdoor enthusiasts will love this KOA. Ideally located in the Sierra Mountains, the campground also backs up to the Kern River Preserve. Poised midway between Southern California and Yosemite or Death Valley, this KOA offers easy access to acclaimed whitewater rafting and kayaking on the Kern River. Enjoy nearby lake access for boating, jet skiing, fishing, windsurfing or swimming. Off-road enthusiasts can access miles of trails right from the campground. Facilities for golfing, skiing or snowboarding are a short drive away. Visit the Trail of a Hundred Giants, Silver City Ghost Town and the Native American Cultural Center, hike to waterfalls or experience natural water slides. At this KOA, you'll find everything from large, shady pull thrus to tent sites, a family pool, splash pad, playground, game room, general store and pub. Ice cream socials, crafts, games for all ages, pancake breakfasts and movie nights help make your stay great!

Since starting in 2006 with a definitive fixer-upper we have strived to improve and bring the campground to what you the campers want.  From putting in cabins, adding landscaping, improving sites/ layout, repairing the pool, starting social events and family activities, adding a great camper kitcken....... And we still have so much we want to do.
We are here to make your stay the best it can be.  When you see us around the campground let us know what you think, we always want to here from you.

Campground Activities

Some Activities are seasonal (May 8th - October 1st). Activities can be planned for your special event.

Outdoor Movie Night

Saturday's after dusk, come watch a family movie under the stars. There are games and fun leading up to the movie.

Ice Cream Social

Every Friday Night at 7:30pm enjoy FREE ICE CREAM on us. Just bring your bowl and we'll fill it up.

Relay Races and Water Balloon Toss

On Saturdays children of all ages (and adults too) can join in on the Relay Races and Water Balloon Toss.

Pancake Breakfast

Sunday Mornings Enjoy our FREE PANCAKE BREAKFAST. From 8am-9am just walk on over and find your breakfast being cooked just for you. Coffee and Juice too!

Swimming Pool

Enjoy the sun, at one of our poolside tables. Small wading pool and larger pool.

Splash Pad

Come see our NEW water play area. This is yet another way to stay cool and have fun at the same time this summer.

KOA Banana Bikes

These bikes are so much fun to ride around the campground. There are small, medium and larger bikes for children and adults of all ages. See a host at front desk for rental, and helmets.

Playground/Activity Center

Our playground area includes volleyball, tetherball, horseshoes, swings and a play structure.

Game Room

Our game room air hockey, car races and video games for your enjoyment.

Flashlight Hunt
