Camping area was very clean, kids had an amazing time on their train ride. The reason for the two star review was it advertises a playground which was a swing set and a rocking turtle. Also, advertised a jump pillow which wasn’t able to jump on due to a massive hole. Unfortunately I don’t see us coming back to this KOA.

We enjoyed our three nights stay at Lake Conroe, Houston North KOA. However, we were in the first line of campsites and you could hear the highway traffic most of the time. Campsites were spacious and enjoyed the little farmers market that was held on Saturday morning. For being our first time up in the area, we would definitely stay again.

Cabin was very clean! We really enjoyed fishing in the pond. The pool and hot tub are nice and the giant games on the side. More towels would be appreciated inside the cabin. The sign that says they do not give more towels there is enough for 4 people but we needed more! We didn’t see towels at the pool so ran out fast! The giant inflatable has holes, you hit the bottom! We enjoyed how active the property was on Saturday. Between the Farmers Market, Bingo, train rides and bounce pad, the kids were able to have fun all day. We will definitely be back!

The cabin was cozy and clean. The view was beautiful and our kids had an absolute blast!

There were two main detractors this trip, neither of which the park has control of. Lot's of sirens up and down 105 and incessant beeping from construction next door. As the area continues to grow and develop the park may wish to consider gated entry. It's pretty wide open now. Overall, very nice park. Will stay again.

We had a great time at Lake Conroe KOA! Site was easy to get in and out of, and nicely maintained. The laundry room was very clean and super convenient to use with the app. A laundry cart would be nice for transporting clean laundry across the room to the dryer. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and accommodating. Even had an ice cream truck come through on Sunday afternoon!

We were in space 224. Wifi was sketchy at best. But did not find out until after 5pm. Had to use my phone as a hotspot.

Arrived planning on staying a month. We are leaving at 4 months. Office staff are very nice and park is clean wife says showers were very nice. Very peaceful and had no issues. Grocery stores 1/2 mile and a lot of new fast food places. We would definitely stay here again next time we are in town

The first site the 50 amp service didn’t work, had to call and break back down and move. The amount Conroe KOA charge is totally ridiculous, way too high for what you get,especially at the end of February. I am a KOA member but will not stay at Conroe KOA again

There was a lot of effort on my part to get a booking. I called 6 times or more. I was put on hold, told I should call back and left msgs. None of my calls were returned. Finally I did reach someone who booked us a spot. The RV Park was very empty. I am not sure if this is normal service.

Whenever we are in this area, we stay at the Lake Conroe KOA. It is conveniently located for making day trips in the Houston/Beaumont area. The RV sites are nice and spacious. We are not on top of each other There is overflow parking which we sometimes use if our son is with us. There are plenty of restaurants close to the park. It's a very clean park!

Great,friendly and accommodating staff. Grounds were clean and well kept. Close to restaurants and stores. Try Trixie's Coffee Shop...it was great!. The farmers market on Saturday morning at the campgrounds was also a bonus.

We enjoyed walking around the campground, relaxing by the lake and playing with our puppy in the dog park. My only concern is that the dock was so full of duck poop that we were unable to walk out to the gazebo on the lake. Probably needs to be power washed twice a week.

The camp area was clean, neatly kept. The space was very nice looking over the manmade lake. But, the location is near a major highway and so the sights & sounds were annoying. But, on the other hand, it’s near a lot of nice restaurants and lake activities in the area of Lake Conroe by vehicle.

The campgrounds are clean, organized, and the staff is friendly and super helpful. My cabin was very clean, fully stocked with supplies (fresh towels, coffee, extra blankets, etc). Job well done! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good place to stay in the area!

Pros: The lake view was great - very pretty. Cons: road noises were very loud (we were at the front of the park). The amenities for kids were not in good condition (bounce pad wasn’t holding air, basketballs were all flat). I probably won’t be back to this KOA - others are better maintained.

The staff was very helpful and accommodating as I had wrong site picked for our SUV tent camping and they quickly switched us to an RV site. Loved the farmers market on Saturday and the dog areas.. it was nice and relaxing weekend to just chill and unplug from technology:

It was relaxing. Picnic table needed repaired or replaced. The bathroom hade a bad odor, but appeared clean.

Both Andy & Marly were welcoming ... professional yet personable. Enjoyed the Farmers' Market being so accessible. I was car-camping using a tent site near the restroom/shower room - very clean. For after business comers like me, I suggest using at least the camper's initials on the site map; I was not certain if the map was for me or for another late comer. THANK YOU
