Good for a short stay. It’s nice around the lake and the back part of the campground. Newer area. It’s on the interstate so it’s easy off/on but there is also road noise.

Wonderful campground. All the usual facilities. Place is very clean and well laid out. Staff was very friendly.

We were in the smaller new area, so our site was roomy and had a nice cement pad for our long motorhome. This KOA is actually in Scott, not Layfayette, which is a little confusing with that name. The older sites are very close together and the trees are very dense through there. If you have a satellite dish it could be a problem. They have cable in the older area, but not in the newer area yet

Clean, beautiful campground. We were only 30 minutes from home. Fishing, swimming for our next trip!!!! Courteous and friendly staff ready to help

Campground and facilities are immaculate but the STAFF are who make this KOA extra special! This is my GO TO stopover traveling between Mississippi and Texas. Conveniently located right off I-10. Give this one a try. You'll be glad you did!

Loved the Mardi Gras decorations! Stay was good; some road noise Nice to be by the man made lake Bummer that internet didn’t work, otherwise good stay with friendly staff.

Well maintained. Very clean. Friendly staff. Only negative is lack of ADA approved shower. I'd still stay here again if coming this way in Louisiana.

Convenient for traveling on I-10. Courteous and efficient check-in. Pleasant site, with sufficient room for my class B. Spotless restrooms. Will stay again!

A beautiful place to stay! A nice lake to fish in, lots of space on even pads. Clean and quiet towards the back of the park. This will be a favorite of ours to return to in the future.

We’ve stayed at several KOA’s across the country and this property had very narrow lots that were not that long as well. We have a 30 foot Motorhome and found it very difficult to maneuver.

we only stayed one night as we were traveling to South Padre Island. The grounds were clean and spacious and it was easy to find off the interstate and easy to get back on. There was a nice area to walk the dogs and garbage cans and poopy bags were provided. We also loved that there was a grocery store with a huge parking lot right off the exit and only minutes from the campground.

Very convenient location just off I-10. Very friendly check in staff. Nice trees and lake. Concrete sites, all worked as expected. A bit noisy from road noise. Would stay here again if passing through

The Lafayette KOA is our 138th and 140th stop and we stayed a total of 3 nights. Conveniently located right off I-10 (and you will have some highway noise), the check in process was quick and the work campers were a delight. There are three sections to the park with the 100 and 200 sections more established with tree coverage. The “newer” section (300s) is at the back of the park, no trees and has nice wide concrete roads with narrow but level sites. There is a lake in the middle of the 100 and 300 sections. The park is decent enough and looks like they will have a lot of things for kids to do. The dog park is very small and the dog walk area is along the main road coming into the park along the highway. Overall, I would rate it a 4.2. Connectivity (2 pm): Park WiFi (inconsistently 14.6 down/0.5 up); Verizon 81.9 down/13.5 up); T-Mobile (605.0 down/22.0 up)
