The World Famous, award-winning Sunset Ceremonies feature the Fort Henry Guard Drums, Drill Squad, and Artillery Detachment presenting an interpretive story of 1860s military music, precision drill and big-bang artillery manoeuvres, including a mock battle and state-of-the-art projection elements that bring the ceremony to life!
The World Heritage Sunset Ceremony is held Wednesday evenings at 8pm from July 8 until August 26.
Upper Canada Village's 2016 Horse Lovers' Weekend will be a very special occasion as tribute is paid to the Canadian Horse, Canada's national breed and exclusive breed of horses who live and work at Upper Canada Village. A six-horse hitch of all black, registered Canadian horses, a horse powered Drag Saw operation, horse powered threshing machine, horse drawn wagon rides, horse drawn boat rides all free with village admission. You won't want to miss the Parade at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, September 4 & 5. Upper Canada Village's own musical troupe, the Tilton's, will give a performance on Saturday before the all-Canadian Horse Parade.
