Southbound from Anchorage: At the Seward cutoff, go right toward Homer/Soldotna/Kenai through Cooper Landing to the end of the road. KOA is at mile 169, the first driveway shared with the Tesoro station. Keep right. If you crest the hill, you've gone too far (but the view will be spectacular!).
Get Google DirectionsHomer Baycrest KOA has the Shortstop Grill on site, with Grab and Go fresh made breakfast sandwiches, and home-style lunch and dinner menu; "Best Burger in town". We also have ice cream and other goodies and snacks available within the "Shortstop", along with a gift shop within the registration office. Firewood is available at both places, and ice is at the Shortstop.
The tent sites have a kitchen sink dedicated for dish washing in the mid-level bathroom complex.
All of our bathrooms and office have ADA ramps.
2024 we added a new bathhouse/laundry facility with a beautiful deck to enjoy the view while you are waiting for the chores to be done.
The kids have a boat to play on, a castle swing set, volleyball, GAGA pit, plus yard games available at the office.
There are 2 community fire pits and a pavilion for groups.
There is a doggy park.
