Very nice campground with everything we needed. Men’s restroom at the office does have an odor that needs to be addressed but everything else was perfect! All staff we met were friendly and helpful

Nice, clean, quiet. Friendly staff. They do regular BBQ dinners and pancake breakfasts in their Chuckwagon outdoor cooking area for reasonable prices. Great gift shop/convenience store. We stayed at this KOA almost 3 years ago and it is much nicer now. Great place for a stopover on your way across the southwest.

Back bathrooms need attention. The men's stall doors need to open out not in. Could not close the stall door once I was in. The Breakfast and dinner options were good. Staff was friendly and helpful; they were very accommodating when we had to change plans.

Friendly maintenance staff. Campground was relatively quiet and facilities were in great shape. The lady that checked us in was very knowledgeable and helpful.

Great stay as always!

Perfect for a one night stay. Didn’t have to unhook tow car as site was long enough to accommodate rig and tow car. Cowboy cookout was great. After a long day on the road it was nice to get a good dinner right on site.

Visited for a single night. Sight was acceptable, level with easy access. Staff very helpful.

Just one night, so didn’t unhitch did use the amenities, but good for one or two nights

Best stocked KOA we have ever been at. We have never seen a mini grocery store this well stocked at any campground. We stayed two nights. The staff went way beyond to get cable tv to our site. They placed a splitter on the site next to us. We changed our stay to two nights before our arrival. Prepaid for one night. The receipt looks like we not given credit for the prepaid night.

Cable didn't work. A couple neighbors said theirs didn't work either. Friendly staff.

Great location

This place was fine for a few nights. Overall the campground has nice sites. I was in an electric/water only and it was very narrow. The internet was erratic. The first day I was there it was non-existent. It was quite windy and stormy so maybe that was the problem. I suggest you DO NOT turn on the sprinklers in the morning in the dog park. It was quite muddy. Clean showers with hot water.

Spaces are very tight pulling in. If the other camper didn’t park good, the guy at the end gets no room for the slide out; right next to the gazebo. Pulling out, the camper in front parked not far enough into his slot to allow us to pull out far enough to get the camper out.

Nice staff. Quiet for a KOA.

Just a one night stay. Easy in and out large sites. Would stay again.

This is a smaller RV park by most KOA standards. The staff was very nice, but limited. They did not have escort to site. There was only one dumpster at the front of the park, which we walk to deposit the trash. The wifi was not usable. However the proximity to Petrified National Forest was worth it. Sites were level, clean ,and large.

Enjoyed our stay here. The only negative was the site we were given was too tight and had over hanging branches that we were afraid were going to scratch our sides or roof. When we asked to be moved to another site the gentleman seemed a bit put off. We had to push back in order to get a different site. He told us they were sold out, but we were there early enough to be moved

Nice campground, terrible WiFi. Basically in the dark ages for the 3 days we were there.

Great campground for our overnight stay! Clean, quiet, and comfortable. We will definitely stay here again.

Very nice facilities & friendly staff.

I was sad that all the washers were not working. The camp sites were extremely close together.

Laundry room was clean and reasonably priced. Tables under the pavilion were very dirty but it was nice to have sinks and running water available. We were there two nights and the trash in the pavilion was never emptied.

Nice stay and site was pretty level. My biggest complaint would be barking dogs. I40 was close but the noise was minimal and very tolerable. Has laundry room but it was quite small and clean.

The camp ground is well maintained. It is right off 40 but the traffic noise is not bad. Very close to the petrified forest and painted desert which is a must see if you can! Staff are very helpful and friendly. We would stay again

Pure dirt. Dog park is gross and the dog walk is useless. No doggy bags. Pet friendly is just for advertising and nothing to do with facilities. Would have better facilities in a Walmart parking lot. Will never stay at any KOA again.

Very close to the petrified forest, maybe 15-20 mins! Perfect after a long day of exploring. They have breakfast and dinner grill where you can buy select items off their menu which was really fun and made it easy after a long day of travel. They have some really nice spots with a patio, grill, chairs, and fire which is what we booked. Had a fire on for the rest of the night!

We rented a cabin and we're pleasantly surprised to find a beautifully appointed bathroom which is unusual for KOA cabins. The park itself was pretty and clean. The chuckwagon style meals served we're very good. We enjoyed our stay very much.

We stayed here for a week. The campground is on the northeast end of Holbrook. There are two parallel one-way entrances lanes to the campground: use the right lane to pull up next to the office and check in. Except for four back-in sites that seem to belong to longer-term residents, all of the RV sites are pull-throughs with gravel pads, gravel yards and picnic tables. Most sites have full-hookups as well as cable connections: a very few have just water and electric (and cable), while the sites marked on the map as being extra long might not have cable. Individual site amenities vary a great deal. Some sites have waist-high pine trees along the border, some have fences between sites, and some have adjacent tree (all sites are open to the sky, though) Some sites have patios that simply have chairs; others come with a gas-powered grill. A few patio and patio-free sites have a pergola, and some sites have small dog pens. Site 66 (likely because the campground is just off of old Route 66) is the ultimate site with a large patio area with a grill and pergola surrounded by a privacy fence. There are also a number of tent and cabin sites. We stayed in site 50, which was the last site on the east end of our row. All east end sites have a tall fence wall on the right side of the site, likely to block some of the light and sound from I-40 across the way. Our site wasn't long enough to fit our 21-foot truck and 37-foot fifth wheel front to back, but it was a designated wide site so we easily fit our truck between the camper and the fence. Our site was level, and the hookups were all near the back. The office building has a decent-sized souvenir and convenience store, with a laundry room located on the side of the building and bathrooms located in the back. There is a large playground on the west side of the office with a single basketball hoop and horseshoe pit, and beyond that is the swimming pool. Across from the office is the propane refill station, the dump station, and a communal area with a large petrified log and a small walk-up restaurant where they serve pancakes and host cowboy cookouts in season. There is also a second bathhouse at the back of the campground; all bathrooms are secured with keypad codes. The best places to walk dogs are either along the dirt pet walk area on the east side of the campground or in the fenced dog park on the west side. The dog park has a grass and dirt surface without any of the usual KOA agility equipment (which means a bit more open space), a single bench, and no dedicated lighting. In terms of cell service, the best bandwidth I saw on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna showed 16 Mbps down and 12 up, and other than very occasional buffering I had no problem working and streaming video. The best speed I saw on my AT&T smartphone with 5G was 86 down and 18 up. I tried out the campground WiFi the morning we left and got 3.5 down and just 1 up. If you're a light sleeper, you may struggle here: I-40 is visible from the east and south sides of the park, and you can faintly hear the semi-trucks as they pass by as well as the occasional train. We would stay here again if we were in the area.
