Very good location. Clean restrooms and showers. We were able to buy rv parts at the KOA store and propane. Very easy and helpful people! However Wi-fi was unstable. Maybe because we were far from the office/main building.

Great location for exploring Petrified Forest NP and the town of Holbrook. Friendly, helpful staff.

The site should be checked out before any one checks in. The site had outdoor furniture tipped over, probably by wind. A quick check would make it more presentable.

Very helpful staff

I stayed in spot 10 on a rainy day. Absolutely no gravel or road base around the hook up area mud up to my ankles. A week later on our way back through staying there again. I mentioned it to the person at the front desk and basically he said that they knew it was an issue and then turned away from me, not what I expect from a KOA

Wildly overpriced, sharp painful rock everywhere, no water pressure in the shower, no enclosed dog park or pet relief area, WiFi does not work. Only pleasant part was the friendly lady at the front desk.

We stay at lots of KOA’s. Whe. We arrived, man at desk was on the phone and did t even look up to acknowledge we were there. When he got off phone he told us our dog wasn’t allowed in the office. Did t say it in an apologeticnor friendly tone. This is the first KOA that told us we can’t hold our little dog I. The officer. Ugly campground. Table in bad conditions. Water pressure low for

We were very comfortable here. Our stay was for 2 nights while we visited Petrified Forest NP and Painted Desert, which is amazing. The store and gift shop had a great selection and the staff there were very friendly. The bath house and laundry was clean and open 24 hours. We were able to see the SpaceX launch from CA, too! We would definitely stay here again!

Great stay! our first time at a KOA and the staff was so friendly. we loved our cabin. the only issue we had was getting the hot water to stay on. we had it in the shower for about 5minutes and then it was on/off suddenly. super hot then super cold without touching anything. we were in cabin F.

We stayed in one of the cabins and absolutely loved it. It was stocked with all of the essentials, including kitchen. Our kids loved being able to play at the playground, they’ve already asked to stay again on our next National Park adventure.

This KOA is quickly going downhill. It was not our first stay here but, will be our last. From trash left and tore up on assigned lot, bathroom locked, a lot dog poop left in the small dog park (not fresh, fresh and old), and a perceived general lack of care.

Clean bathrooms and showers.

Great place if you like mud. Mud everywhere, mud tracked on to my steps. Oh, and did I mention that there is mud everywhere.

Great stop. Well cared for KOA. A few mud puddles and ruts from all the rain (4/24). I little grading of the sites and roads is needed. Otherwise outstanding

We were only there for one night and we felt very comfortable. We wish we had the grandkids with us to enjoy the campground amenities. So much to do. And the campground is convenient to so many attractions. We will definatly find a way to spend more time there when we tour central Arizona

Delightful owners! Park was clean and easy to move our rig throughout. Plus our fur baby received a dog treat!

We stayed here for a week. The campground is on the northeast end of Holbrook. There are two parallel one-way entrances lanes to the campground: use the right lane to pull up next to the office and check in. Except for four back-in sites that seem to belong to longer-term residents, all of the RV sites are pull-throughs with gravel pads, gravel yards and picnic tables. Most sites have full-hookups as well as cable connections: a very few have just water and electric (and cable), while the sites marked on the map as being extra long might not have cable. Individual site amenities vary a great deal. Some sites have waist-high pine trees along the border, some have fences between sites, and some have adjacent tree (all sites are open to the sky, though) Some sites have patios that simply have chairs; others come with a gas-powered grill. A few patio and patio-free sites have a pergola, and some sites have small dog pens. Site 66 (likely because the campground is just off of old Route 66) is the ultimate site with a large patio area with a grill and pergola surrounded by a privacy fence. There are also a number of tent and cabin sites. We stayed in site 50, which was the last site on the east end of our row. All east end sites have a tall fence wall on the right side of the site, likely to block some of the light and sound from I-40 across the way. Our site wasn't long enough to fit our 21-foot truck and 37-foot fifth wheel front to back, but it was a designated wide site so we easily fit our truck between the camper and the fence. Our site was level, and the hookups were all near the back. The office building has a decent-sized souvenir and convenience store, with a laundry room located on the side of the building and bathrooms located in the back. There is a large playground on the west side of the office with a single basketball hoop and horseshoe pit, and beyond that is the swimming pool. Across from the office is the propane refill station, the dump station, and a communal area with a large petrified log and a small walk-up restaurant where they serve pancakes and host cowboy cookouts in season. There is also a second bathhouse at the back of the campground; all bathrooms are secured with keypad codes. The best places to walk dogs are either along the dirt pet walk area on the east side of the campground or in the fenced dog park on the west side. The dog park has a grass and dirt surface without any of the usual KOA agility equipment (which means a bit more open space), a single bench, and no dedicated lighting. In terms of cell service, the best bandwidth I saw on my Verizon Jetpack with MIMO antenna showed 16 Mbps down and 12 up, and other than very occasional buffering I had no problem working and streaming video. The best speed I saw on my AT&T smartphone with 5G was 86 down and 18 up. I tried out the campground WiFi the morning we left and got 3.5 down and just 1 up. If you're a light sleeper, you may struggle here: I-40 is visible from the east and south sides of the park, and you can faintly hear the semi-trucks as they pass by as well as the occasional train. We would stay here again if we were in the area.

Kudos to Holbrook KOA ! We had a Horrible trip East bound I 40 today, the 40 was shot down at exit 357 because of a Train derailment ! We sat on the 40 for over 4plus hours and no way to turn around!! Finally they ( troopers) open up an exit and made all of us head back west bound!! Being late in the afternoon! My wife called and said that they had a pull through site 👍👍😎😎😊😊we were very happy to have a place to park for the Night!! Yes a 5 star service and thank you folks!! We will be back again!!Don and Linn
