Amazing Ice Cream Sundae Socials
Saturdays from Memorial Day Weekend until Labor Day Weekend we host an Ice Cream Sundae Social. Come out and mingle with your fellow campers over a bowl of cold ice cream loaded with toppings.
Every weekend from Memorial Day through until Labor Day we take out the brightly painted 'He-ey Wagon" and cruise the campground. Be sure to wave and yell "He-ey as we pass.
You could bring a water gun and ambush the wagon, just sayin'...
Family Movies Under the Stars!
Grab a drink, some snacks and popcorn in our store and join us for a movie under the stars on our 12 foot tall outdoor movie screen Saturday nights Memorial Day through Labor Day Weekend, weather permitting. (The movie can be watched on our private campground cable channel if the weather does not cooperate!) The movies are always family friendly and fun!
Be sure to bring a chair or blanket and arrive early for the pre-movie cartoons!
Meet Your Hosts
"Our goal is to provide a place where ALL families feel welcome."
The Hucul family came to the Shenandoah Valley looking for a place where they could raise their children while getting closer to nature, escape high-pressure living, and get the chance to own and preserve their own land.
They found what they were looking for at the Harrisonburg/Shenandoah Valley KOA.
"Here we can provide a place for people to bring their families and come together to play," says Monica. "We strive to provide a clean pleasant place where everyone can come relax and have a good time. "
