Please follow these directions: Do NOT follow your GPS as this could be wrong:
From I-81 Exit 257, take 11N 1/10 mile.
Turn right onto Route 608 (Mauzy-Athlone Rd)
Continue on Route 608 for 4 miles.
Drive forward into our driveway at the end of Route 608.
Please stop at our STOP signs and come up to the store to register. Please do not go beyond the STOP signs.

Nothing beats the heat like an ice cold sparkling cider. Thanks to Showalter's Orchard and Greenhouse for holding such an inviting space for our souls and taste buds to blossom in the beauty of the day. While sipping delicious apple cider you can soak in the most gorgeous mountain view. There's also an array of hard ciders to sample. Freshly baked apple cider donuts are also available...and...prepare your palette for this...hot soft pretzels! Options to satisfy both sweet and salty. We recommend sampling both treats to accompany the cider!
Showalter's grows more than 30 varieties of apples. Their cidermakers are always experimenting and dishing out small batch ciders exclusive to the farm.
To sweeten your orchard experience it is also a location for Virginia's LOVEworks installation! Quick side note, did you know there's 200+ LOVEworks installations throughout the state of Virginia?! L-O-V-E! Virginia is for Lovers and we're all about it! Find a complete list of those locations here.
Family owned and operated orchard, cidery, farm stay and event venue since 1965. The welcoming staff truly makes you feel at home! They open their grounds as an oasis to all. You can choose patio seating in the covered porch, picnic tables in the grass terrace, or bring your blanket in the LOVE letter meadow. Spend the afternoon and pack food for a picnic and a frisbee for lawn activity.
Be sure to check out festive events throughout the year like Summerfest or the Apple Celebration in the fall.
