We had a great time staying at KOA! Would def recommend it to others! The store had everything you could possibly need! A bit pricey on the box of wood but other then that we have no complaints!!

Campground was nice. Sites were a little tight, road thru was kind of tight. Bathrooms were decent. My biggest disappointment was, I had an issue with my trailer that I needed to get taken care of. Talked to the owner as soon as I came in, asked if there was a mobile service. Not to worry, 'his guy' could take of it. After 3 days of him not showing up, I ended up having to take care of myself.

The lady at office was beyond friendly. The site was easy to find and all service were working. Easy to back in our 29 ft. Motorhome. We will use again.

I wish there were more garbage cans around so when you take your dog for a walk there is somewhere to put the poop bags instead of carrying them around with you. Also the site we were at the trailer next to us was very close when they put their slide out it took up half of our site felt very closed in. And their dogs barked all the time. The campgrounds it self was great, friendly, clean

Best place to stay overnight near Halifax, a romantic campsite at the waterfront in a forest, nice people, nice staff, I'm looking forward to stay there a couple of times each year.

The campground itself was fine . The kids and dogs were great. The people and entertainment were way too noisy. I know it was a holiday weekend but there should be a choice as to whether you want to hear a concert or not. (less amplifier) Our neighbors talked loudly 'till we turned on our light at 1:15 am and they got the message. The staff was great and very helpful.

Owners are always welcoming! Every year we come, we notice little improvements here & there (This year it was obvious that work was done on ALL the washrooms & showers). Pride of ownership shows - staff are all friendly, helpful. Grounds are always neat & tidy! Found our new favorite site this year!�� Thanks again Joe & Company - we'll be back!

We are annual regulars at Halifax West KOA. We stay at this campground 2 to 3 weekends per year. The amenities were as good as usual. Our stay was as enjoyable and relaxing as we expected it to be. The campground manager was very accommodating during the booking as well as the check-in and check-out. We plan to return every year.

We had a great stay! This is our 3rd year in a row. The campground is well maintained, the restrooms and showers are clean. There's also new cabins. Joe is the owner, he's great! The kids love it there.

The staff was very helpful and friendly. The laundry room was roomy and clean. Easy access to Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, and Lunenburg.

Staff were very friendly restrooms are clean but sites are extremely close. If it rains place is completely flooded and a mud bog. We left 2 days early because of our neighbors being right on top of us and up partying till 2 am

It was a great campground, other than the beds being uncomfortable but beats a tent. Loved having a mini fridge and charcoal bbq included. Clean bathrooms and free showers.

Very clean and well maintained. We had a very private site. Owner and staff awesome. Very close to the city and highway. Would return again perhaps even this month. Kids loved it.

Well I hate to beat a place up but we just spent 5 nights in the mud bogs. Yes there was rain but with some upkeep lay at least some more gravel, camps were under water, camp did lay some pallets down for some to walk on. Laundry outdated. Front entry need a redesign, no room to come in or out, boxed in by laundry and camps. We had a lot of camper noise up to 2 am, rules not enforced. Not again

The campground is nice however we had other campers parking in our campsite, walking across our campsite, and their kids playing on our campsite. We are a quiet family and we appreciate having our own space. We were very surprised by this behaviour, as we have not had this experience at other campgrounds, KOA and otherwise, and we've even stayed at this campground before without this issue.

Been staying during the week for work. Site and camp grounds were very clean and well laid out. Staff was friendly and accommodating plan on being a frequent visitor as it is close to Halifax and we travel there quite often �

Great place to go camping in a cabin or a camper. Wonderful playground and bouncy trampoline, ice cream and a pool. There's also kayaks that you could rent out in the Lake.
