This Park was not for the feint of heart if you have a big rig. The road in and out was 1 lane but 2 way. No way to pass another vehicle. Our pull through site was long enough for our 45’ rig and toad but NOT level, not even close. It to 4 blocks under the rear tires. The campground had some charm and might be fine for a smaller rig if you really want to tour Antietam.

We needed somewhere to stay for just one night, and the lady who answered the phone was so helpful, kind, and efficient in finding a spot for us. We had been living in our small camper van for a month, traveling all over the country, and this would be our last night camping. We LOVED the hot pizza delivered to our campsite, and the bathrooms were immaculate! Love this KOA!

I do not recommend this KOA for long term stays. We were there for almost 3 weeks and between numerous power outages, campsite flooding during torrential rains, very cramped sites, unkempt laundry facilities, dust dust and more dust, infested with lantern lavae, dirty, insufficient parking, uphill sewer connections, very loud and the list goes on. Reached out to owners b4 posting this.

Great staff. Grounds are well kept. We had a nice, back in site. Only complaint, there needs to be a few street lights. It was very dark at night.

Our stay was good. Bathrooms near sites 22, 23, 24,25 were exceptionally clean and warm (chilly outside) with large shower. The store onsite is one of the best I have been in. Highly recommend this campground.

Had a great time enjoyed the trick or treating.. Our site was perfect quiet clean. Your store was well stocked the staff was so friendly and helpful. I loved this campground.. Hopefully we will return one day on our travels.

The Hagerstown Antietam Battlefield KOA staff is always amazing and carring individuals... we always come back year after year. Please keep up the great work.

Comme je l'ai précisé auprès de la maison-mère, ce terrain de camping ne correspond pas au standard de l'ensemble des terrains de camping KOA. Le service à la clientèle a été excellent, mais c'est l"offre de service qui était plus qu'ordinaire , terrain pas au au niveau, eau très éloigné de l'électricité, quiétude discutable, eau tiède dans les douches, pour ce prix excessif .

Quiet, very friendly, clean Campground. New upgrades. Fun for the whole family including furry family members! We love to come around Halloween, some love the Haunted House, some just love seeing the trick or treaters and camp site decorations. My group already booked for next year!

Loved the haunted house on site. One thing is two rest rooms is not enough. People an staff are very friendly. Great food at restaurant, love my site I was at alone the creek.

Our first and last time camping here. Sites are way too close together. It was loud way into the night with screaming, car horns, traffic, barking dogs. Can’t say much about the police showing up only know what the text said. Our Halloween decorations were stolen twice during the weekend. While the rain can’t be controlled, our site was a mud pit, it had very little gravel.

This was our first time at this KOA. We had a great time and our kids loved it. They even had a great time though it rained Saturday. No complaints at all. Everyone was nice. We will be back.

Not a bad park. Our pull through site was not level We had to put boards down to level. We did not unhook our Fifth wheel camper front to back was bad Camp ground had potential. Staff was great!

This was our third stay at this park and we enjoyed it as much as before. Friendly staff, level easy to get in and out site. Plenty of places to walk our dogs and beautiful water views. Firewood was delivered to our site promptly and we sat and had a nice fire before dinner. We were in site 24.

Guy who showed us to our site was not very helpful. Site was extremely difficult to back into and had to park the trailer so we couldn’t use half the site.

Loved the privacy of Sweetheart cabin, but otherwise it's NOT a `Sweetheart' stay! Bed is the loudest of any KOA ive ever been to, you would be heard throughout the camp. Bed support boards are cracked, wrong screws used...It's Terrible. More Romantic on the floor.

I wasn’t there to log I was just stopping through and got a cabin. The cabin was very clean. The bathrooms are very clean. What a beautiful store they had.

We had a great time! The Trunk or Treating is always a great hit. This is the first time that I have used the public restrooms/showers and I was amazed to see how clean and well kept they are. Super impressed! See you next year!

Crowded small sites and loud music with some people obviously drunk. Location is very rural and not an close The the major interstate therefore not good for overnight stays.

What a great weekend! Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. We visit this KOA quite often and love all of the recent upgrades with many still ongoing. Can't wait to see what everything looks like at the end!

We loved how friendly and helpful the staff were. We appreciated that someone helped back us into our site. The only complaint was the set up of site 62 with the gradient wall separating out site and fire pit. It made it very difficult to set up our dog fence. Most other sites seemed great. Great communication. Fun activities for kids.

The site was level. Would like to have more sewer hookups. Shares a common driveway which cuts through the middle of the campground. Office is well stocked. Looks like a lot of fun things for young children to do. Entrance road is one way and may mean a standoff when arriving or leaving.

This is my favorite KOA Holiday Campground. The grounds are beautifully maintained. The employees are super helpful and nice. My favorite season is Halloween and all the decorations.

Campground is remote. The power pole at our site did not work. Our surge protector that we used at all sites on this trip works fine. The error code said that there was not enough power or too much power. Thank goodness it was cool out. I contacted the KOA Team there and asked for a partial refund and they said they would look into it. Nothing.

This was our second stay here. It is very convenient in terms of visiting Antietam National Battle Field. Staff is wonderful.

Tale of Two Cities- Thank you Hagerstown! I am a KOA Rewards member and I have over 110,000 lifetime points. I realize there are thousands of people that have more points than me and have been a member longer than 18 years, but I am certainly qualified to write this review!! Hagerstown and Harrisonburg My wife and I are campers, hikers, bikers, kayakers, and adventurers. Being part of that lifestyle, things happen. On the 20th, one of those “THINGS” did happen. On a hike in southern Virginia, my wife had a fall and broke her arm. Luckily, we were in cell phone range and the ambulance and medical personnel were able to reach us. After spending 8 hours in the hospital for emergency treatment to her arm, we returned to our RV in the middle of the night. Early the next morning, knowing it was impossible to continue camping, I started my drive home from southern Virginia. We were close to the end of our trip and we only had about three more nights to go. I had reservations at both Harrisonburg AND Hagerstown on my return trip. Harrisonburg: On the morning of the 21st, as we were heading home, I called the Harrisonburg KOA to see if I could get my deposit back. I even texted with Terry (one of the employees) about the situation. I was told what the policy was in regards to cancellations and I totally understand why those rules are in place. This, however, was an extenuating circumstance. I was reminded about the “policy” several times. I asked if he could check with the owner and see if there was an exception to this “Policy.” After an hour, I got a response which in essence was, since I was unable to spend the night at the KOA, there were no exceptions and I would lose my money. This is the policy. I even offered to produce my wife's xrays and medical receipts for verification. NOPE, not budging. This was NOT a win/win situation. When I called Hagerstown KOA to tell them of my situation, I was pleasantly surprised to be understood with a great deal of compassion. The employee told me what the “policy” was, but given my situation, she was going to talk with the owners. (I wish I got her name because she was very nice.) Within the hour, I received a call back and the employee told me that she got permission to refund my deposit, except for $10.00. This was a great solution! I gladly accepted the offer and I will certainly patronize this KOA in the future. Thanks to John and Judi for allowing some flexibility in this very difficult situation. Upon my return home, I wrote a letter to the Harrisonburg KOA making one more attempt to get some money back. I did not get any response through email, snail mail, or on my phone. Hagerstown made sure they took care of the customer and for that, they deserve top honors. THANK YOU, HAGERSTOWN. Harrisonburg repeatedly told me what the policy was and did not share any compassion for what was a terrible situation for my wife and for me. Shame on you, Harrisonburg.

We have a 36 foot travel trailer and the pull through site was big. Lots of trees no freeway noise. Nice staff and a well appointed store.

Beautiful campground, extremely clean sites, no bits of trash. Management and staff are extremely attentive with a goal that everyone has a wonderful time. The bathroom is very clean and shower was great, Super friendly atmosphere, staff is great, Cafe: we heard that the crab cakes and cafe are delicious. Beautiful river views Nice looking pool Nice K-9 club yard small but nice. Bouncing space for children, really a LOT of fun kid stuff, goats, ducks, chickens, playground, ... It looked like an excellent place for a family.
