This KOA features 80-foot pull thru sites with large, grassy areas, and 50-amp service.

Welcome to the Green River KOA, located on the I-70 Business Loop just across from the John Wesley Powell River History Museum. The Green River KOA is a great home base for rockhounders searching for geodes, jasper and other popular rocks, gems, and minerals in the area. Casual dining is available at the Tamarisk Restaurant, within walking distance from the campground office. Take a day trip to Arches or Canyonlands National Parks, Goblin Valley, Little Wild Horse Slot Canyon or take a river trip with Moki Mac River Expeditions. This KOA features 80-foot pull thru sites with large, grassy areas. Cable TV and 50-amp service is available at some sites and all sites have access to free Wi-Fi. Enjoy the 22x50-foot pool, complete with the Turbo Twister Slide! Join us for our Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 7th. A gift will be awarded for every egg found and a KOA Rewards Card will be awarded for the Golden Egg. Also, don't miss the Green River Melon Days Festival held the 3rd Friday and Saturday in September. Service is limited between October 15th and March 1st. March 31 - April 8, 2012 Moab Jeep Safari

The Easter Jeep Safari is fun for all ages and experience levels. Short and Long rides depart all week from Moab. This is a massive week long 4X4 riding event. For more information go to: rr4w.com.

April 7, 2012: KOA Easter Egg Hunt

This egg hunt takes place on the Easter Saturday at 10:00AM.

All persons finding an egg will receive a prize. The person finding the golden egg will receive the ultimate prize and their parents will receive a KOA Rewards Kard, good for one year.

May 11-13, 2012: Come Camp and Care Weekend

All persons registered for a stay on May 11, 2012 will receive their second night (May 12, 2012) FREE.

September 14-15, 2012: Green River Melon Days

Join the fun at The Green River Melon Days. On Saturday there is a parade in the morning followed all day by activities in the park, numerous food vendors, softball games and many vendors set up in the park displaying crafts and more. There will be free melon all day on Saturday.

Goblin Valley State Park

Wind and water have carved fantastic and unique goblin-like sculptures out of rock at Goblin Valley State Park . Explore the area and enjoy the desert beauty, the fascinating comical goblin forms, and the views of the San Rafael Reef and the Henry Mountains.

Little Wild Horse Slot Canyon

Little Wild Horse Slot Canyon is located just 5 miles from Goblin Valley State Park. Take a hike and see the narrow slot canyon with intricately sculpted sandstone walls.

Crystal Geyser

A cold water geyser powered by CO2 gasses that erupts sporadically each day, with eruptions reaching 80 to 100 feet and lasting sometimes for up to an hour.
