Evergreen Park is the largest full-featured exhibition facility north of Edmonton. The Park, while still staying true to its agriculture roots with an annual Agri-Show, Rodeos, Chuckwagon Races, Live Horse Racing and indoor and outdoor accommodations for horses and other farm-related animals – now offers a huge selection of options, and buildings, for a multitude of events. A variety of halls, convention/conference facilities, paved parking, pavilions, riding trails, a fully licensed restaurant and lounge (open 363 days a week from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m.), a family restaurant and other special features. Grovedale Fish Pond is the perfect site for fishing enthusiasts. It includes 10-day use sites that have picnic tables and fire pits. There is garbage/recycling containments placed throughout. One handicap-accessible outhouse facility, fish cleaning station, 2 fishing docks, as well as a large parking area. To top off this beautiful location, there is a large cookhouse equipped with grills and picnic tables for your special occasions.

This unique spot is found 30 km northeast of Grande Prairie on Hwy 43. The Kleskun Hills rise 100 metres above the plains surrounding Grande Prairie. This site contains the most extensive and diverse areas of native prairie remaining in the Peace region. The layers of clay, sandstone and coal exposed here, in Alberta's northernmost badlands, date back to the age of the dinosaurs. Explore the surrounding walking trails and look out for cactus!

The Art Gallery of Grande Prairie is one of the largest Free Admission galleries in Western Canada. It is one of a number of programmed spaces within the Montrose Cultural Centre and shares communal spaces with the Grande Prairie Public Library and Teresa Sargent Hall. Strict adherence to climate and security controls has earned the Gallery a “Category A” designation by the Movable Cultural Properties Directorate of Canadian Heritage. This designation permits the Gallery to preserve and exhibit artworks to the highest of national standards.

Thrill Hill Disc Golf Course is an 18 hole course that is a friendly course for new players and families while still providing a level of challenge for experienced players.
The course winds up and down hills and in and out of the woods finishing on hole 18's island rock circle. It was designed to be a tournament-level course to give the disc golfers a more challenging track on which to develop their competitive skills.
The Bike Skills Park is a space for mountain bikers to develop their skills in a consistently maintained and controlled environment. Activities within the skills park range from simple ladder bridges to skinnies, small beams, and whoop-de-doos. These features offer the opportunity to work on skills like bike handling, balancing, jumping and turning. This park can be accessed on your bike via multi-use trails nearby.
