Very sweet women at check in. Good sized sites. We have a 38’ 5th wheel and if we hadn’t had to go to the store we would have been able to stay hooked up. Everything in good working order and it was below freezing so kudos to this owner & staff! Thank you for being open in December we appreciated it!

This is a very, very beautiful campground. I recommend anyone to stay here and the staff there are very helpful and very, very beautiful people. Very nice people. whether you’re a family or if you’re a couple or just passing through because you’re working, this is the spot they have everything there to keep you occupied.

Office is nice, staff was very nice. Clean facilities. Freeway was very noisy, even though this campsite is in the country.

The only downside is some of the traffic noise from I80. Other then that. Very accommodating, easy to work with

Arriving after dark and leaving before sunrise I can't really rate the campground. However one comment... another camper had a large dog in the bathroom and upon entering I must have startled the dog and it nipped my leg. The owner was apologetic, it did't break the skin and I am accustom to dogs but I suggest a more aggressive policy. Another camper would likely file a lawsuit.

We had a great time while we were here! We were passing through from IA to CO for Thanksgiving, so we split the drive here overnight. We had a mini camp stove for cooking breakfast and realized we forgot a lighter, so the woman in the store and the groundskeeper searched everywhere for and found one they could lend us since they don’t sell them. Staff were super friendly! Would definitely return

Great location - easy access from I-80 yet just far enough away that it's not noisy. Clean and easy pull-in parking.

I would have appreciated a light at the entrance and you definitely need better lighting around the path and entrance to women’s bathroom. That was scar dark.

Very helpful reception and convenient location not too far from the restrooms. The person in the office suggested a great place, Winchester's in Phillips NE, not too far away for dinner.

We absolutely loved staying at KOA Journey in Grand Island!!! Heidi and the other lady in the office were fantastic to us!!! And just like the other reviews, yes the pizza was REALLY GOOD!!!!

This campground provides what we need, with friendly service. We stay twice a year during snowbird travels; it serves our purposes very well. And the Hunts Bros Pizza is a great way to end a day on the road!

Perfect place to stop for the night. Easy off and on to the interstate. The town is a few minutes away if you need any supplies.

Permanents in our row slammed doors all the time, it was not a quiet stay. They park in the roadway, so we had to back out of our site. The patio site would be better for a smaller Rv, we were to long.

This is such a nice KOA Journey. Road noise is tolerable but facilities are very good.

OK place, not the greatest. We were surprised they did not have cable, when all their notices said we did. Spent 20 min trying to figure out why we didn't get signal, so we checked with staff, and they said "Oh no, we don't have cable anymore", but all their cable connections are still there. A little confusing. OK for overnight stays.

This was a great campground for the Sandhill Crane migration. The bathhouse was open, warm and clean for those who haven't de-winterized. Loads of cranes in the surrounding corn fields, and a short drive to both Crane trust and Audubon. The campground hosted a reception on Saturday afternoon with crane info, snacks and drinks. Pizza is delicious. Lots of areas to let the dogs play in the K9 runs.
