Cancellation Guidelines

Campground Cancelation Guideline: This Kampgrounds of America (KOA) location has enhanced its health and safety measures due to the COVID-19 pandemic in order to better protect you, other campers, visitors, and our staff. An inherent risk of exposure to this highly contagious virus exists in any public place where people may gather. You must follow all posted rules and instructions concerning the COVID-19 virus while you are at this KOA campground. This KOA campground may have limited access to certain amenities in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Please call the campground to discuss specific limitations. By entering this KOA campground, you voluntarily assume all risks of exposure to the COVID-19 virus. Please help our campers enjoy this campground experience and the outdoors by adhering to all posted and supplied COVID-19 virus rules and instructions. To guarantee your campsite, a deposit equal to at least your first night will be charged to your credit card at the time you make your reservation. Make your online reservations anytime, day or night, at KOA.com. You'll receive a confirmation email from the campground once you complete your reservation. Need to Cancel? If you need to cancel your reservation, please call 309-289-2267 before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $10 cancelation fee. Text and email notifications of cancelations are not acceptable. Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancelations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
  • RV & Tent Sites: 48 hours cancelation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 4 p.m. two days before your scheduled arrival.
  • Camping Cabins: 14 days cancelation notice required. Please notify your KOA one week before your scheduled arrival.
  • Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancelations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
  • Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancelation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. Please check with your selected KOA for details.

Check in/ check out times

Check in is at 2PM
Check out is at 11AM for RV and Tent sites. Cabins 10AM.
$5.00 / Hour for early check in.

Pool Hours/Rules

Pool hours are 10 am - 8 pm (Water safety is important to us, please understand we may have a delayed opening time if the pool numbers need correction)
Anyone under 16 must be with an adult
Please, no pets in the pool area
No food or drinks or smoking inside the fenced area
Swim Diapers MUST be worn by infants/toddlers who are not yet potty-trained. We do sell them in the store.

Visitor policy

Visitors may visit -not stay or use the amenities. $5.00 per person. They must register at the office for a parking pass and instructions.

Disc golf

Disc golf is free. Please bring your own, or we have discs available to borrow in the office.

Jumping pad

We have a new Jumbo Jumper. 
The jumping pad is fun for all ages!
Please remove your shoes and enjoy! 
Open during store hours.
We request that an adult be present.

Quiet hours

Quiet hours are from 10PM - 8AM
All children 16 and under must be at their campsite by 9PM
Children under 12 must be supervised at all times
No throwing stones on Jump Pad

Fishing Pond

Bring your rod and reel---
Our fishing pond is CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY
Please respect the natural environment where they live

Hiking/Walking Trails

Hiking / Walking Trails are for everyone.
Dogs are allowed, but please pick up after them!
Benches and Pet stations are available on the trails at several locations for your convenience.
Please no Golf Carts.

Pool Policy

ONLY REGISTERED GUESTS may use the pool.
Overcrowded pool area will force management to close it for everyone.
PLEASE-----NO SMOKING, EATING, OR DRINKING IN THE POOL AREA (WATER ONLY)
There are picnic tables alongside the outside pool fenced area for all eating and drinking.

Firewood Policy

To prevent the spread of harmful forest pests, the state of Illinois has laws prohibiting the movement of firewood across their borders
