Unless you are coming here for the ATV trails, it's not worth it. People drive and park all over multiple lots, we were just given a map and told to find a spot when we got there,, and the amenities are non-existent. No picnic tables or fire rings except for certain lots, but it's unclear if you can use those. No kids activities, a dilapidated playground with nails jutting out and overgrown trails

thought we were going to need a late check out but didn’t and was still charged extra for a late check out. lady at the front said i don’t know what time you left and i don’t believe you so no refund.

We like the fact that there is a security person there at front gate till midnight. We were surprised we had to pick out our own site and it wasn't assigned but that is not a biggie. And the bathhouses were neat and clean. The thing we didn't like (which has nothing to do your campground) is that once we left the campground there was no cell service for at least 20 miles.

Loved the quietness. Scenery is beautiful. Saw bald eagles and found many interesting places close by. We will visit again.

They need to police dog walking and a dog area Our camp area was littered with dog feces and as we stayed there every camper with a dog came by and let their dogs do the same. we notified the person on staff

For 4x4 area is great, But RV park needs to kick it up a notch. 1) level the pads were needed, Our Pad was way out of level with major Dog crap on Lot. Other than that, we enjoyed the stay.

We really enjoyed our stay, staff is very friendly and helpful if needed, showers restrooms and laundry room were very clean, I don't see how anyone could give a negative review of this place, we'll be back again

Hook ups are all over the place. Not align with the sites. Not really sure if this is a Koa or a place where lots are to be bought.

The campground is wonderful, the staff how ever needs some retraining in customer service. The security guard is very unpleasant.

We had a great time for the week of Christmas n New Yrs. Can't wait to come back for our next adventure. The only issue we had is the walking trails down to the water need maintenance done to them because you can't hardly do them because trees are down u have to crawl over them n the ropes are rotten n broken.

Sites were not level. Mainly dirt and grass. Sewer connections broken. Water lines in bad shape. Must have filter and screens to use their water. Screens got plugged up with debris. Electrical connections corroded and worn. Had to hunt for a site. Bathroom house was clean but all 4 toilets in men’s room were plugged for multiple days. Disappointed to say the least. Not worth the $70 per night.

Tons of ants, poor visibility of lake due to overgrowth of brush, un-level sites, no privacy, little tree cover, power wasn't wired correctly at our 30 amp site. 20 minutes to closest stores; and camp store was scantly stocked. Nice staff was the only ok part.

We had no fire pit and no picnic table at our site. Out site had dog poop on it. Someone was letting off fireworks at 10:15 pretty close to our new rig. Had to check for any damage before we left.

Great place to stay. Sites are plenty big and have enough space to do what you need to do. It's a clean place and the staff is super friendly. The pool was pretty chilly so not sure it was heated but it was a nice area. Bring your own wood and plenty of food as the closest grocery store is 20 minutes away. Would visit again.

I booked in October 2 sites side by side, when arrived they gave me an excuse about booking. however after 35 minutes of walking around they found 2 sites side by side, then we had no water pressure, the maintenance man had to come because the sewer line was clogged shut at our site and then no wifi as promised and hadn't had it in months as told by permanent campers there. Upsetting!!!!!!

Very nice Campground with spacious sites bathrooms and laundry facilities are very clean, friendly staff, nice Campgrond overall and I will definitely return, easy access for ATV trails. All ATV riders very respectful of Campground rules and many miles of trails to explore, great place

Fort McCoy KOA is the most unorganized KOA I’ve ever stayed in. No one was in the office. Office hours few and far between. Check in was disastrous. No maps. No site was assigned. We paid for pull through , full hook ups, and was told just to park anywhere. No camping store for needed items. No garbage service. Could not even find a dumpster. Zero service. Not a typical KOA. Should not be a KOA.

Check in was a little rough, first two sites had campers. Requested a pull through site with 50 amp and does not look like there are any. System would not allow points to be used for my stay!

Great place. Just no hot water in the restrooms at the clubhouse. Limited office hours. Please warn every camper to not take the route coming in from the north with the washboard roadway.

Quiet, until the atvs roll in occasionally … but it is an ATV based theme camp and it is fun to watch them. Everyone is respectful of quiet time and families keep their children safety minded and close to their campsites. Tranquil and meet lots of kindred spirits of the rv genre.

Surprisingly peaceful considering the ATV aspect of this campground. Terribly far from any sort of civilization so if you stay awhile it's a bit miserable if you like store access etc. Overall I had a good time here but was glad to leave for more accessable area. Internet on tmobile 4G/5G was good, the wifi was garbage and almost never worked and I was right next to the office.

Although we had a nice time, this campground has changed a lot from when we first began coming here. Like so many others this KOA has become more of a trailer park with year round residents rather than a weekend campground. Many of the lots are being sold and elderly couples have moved in. This has required the quiet time, atv and overall rules to become more enforced.

Good campground, toughest part was the free for all trying to get a site. Guard just told us the general direction of the 50A full hookups are and said pick a spot. Other than that, nice quiet campground.

We are regulars here because a large group of us go out for Atv trails. We know the rules however it seems as if this park is gearing more towards permanent residents. We get told to be quiet at 8 when the time is 11 we know the rules. BEEN going here for years and this Management gets worse every time. Either your KOA or a 55 and up RV park. Decide!!

Something must be done about the organization of the camp, sites & Check-in process which is disastrous after 4-5pm. No guidance to spot, your if you find it park, just make sure it isn't owned way sucks. No reserved spots, no one knows what power or septic is for theirs (had to remove 3 neighbors from ours), everyone parks all over the empty sites, leaving security guard in a frazzled mess.

Beautiful Park, friendly staff. They alert you to bears being in area. Laundry room very reasonably priced and very clean.Wifi non-existent. It didn't work the whole time we were there and the park was not full. Overall a great place of you do not need wifi.
