Great location and facilities. Watching Close Encounters if the Third Kind there was fun. Nostalgic for us - we saw it in the theater as one of our early dates. We celebrated our 45th anniversary in May!

Had a 1 night stay on the way to North Dakota to meet my son and 3 granddaughters. Liked it so much we changed our plans and brought them back. Beautiful, well kept grounds with lots to do for kids.

Excellent location! One of the most fun mini golf courses we’ve played. Nice restaurant. Well kept campground. The view of Devils Tower is very good from nearly all campsites.

Loved staying in the shadow of Devils Tower. The meal at the restaurant was very good. The service was great as well. The not so good was the fact that the pool is under repair (not that the whole week that we were there) absolutely no work was being done on the pool. The dog park was not finished. The speed of 5 mph was a joke. I bet at times they would go by our site close to 20 mph.

The location is absolutely beautiful and the sites are set up to get a view of Devil’s Tower. They had plenty of amenities and activities as well. We were so sad that we only spent a night here! We will be back!

Stayed in V1 and had an amazing view of the tower. The park was everything we expect and then some in a KOA.

Stayed 2 days, rules in placed weren’t followed by some, employees did nothing. Loud music from one family ruined the peaceful atmosphere. Otherwise store employees were super nice and helpful.

Great staff, we stayed in the back which was nice but we had a huge mud hole right by the door of the rv. Nice amenities- we were able to rent a car on site which was very cool. Definitely would stay again!

Well laid out and nice RV sites. Great location with quick access to Devils Tower and within an easy drive to Mt. Rushmore and Crazy Horse. The facilities were well maintained and the option of the restaurant was nice.

I made reservations well in advance with friends who we were traveling with us, But did not want to pay even more (overpriced) money to pick our campsites online. We arrived earlier than our counterparts and with a sign the furthest spot with no shade and not level site. My Google review has further comments Highly do NOT recommend. Stay at Mountain View RV park/campground in Sundance Instead.

KOA at devils tower was a bit disappointing. Bathrooms at back location were dirty, full of cottonwood fluff, and always just not clean. Roads when not wet we’re dusty so you couldn’t eat out side because of people in there go cart were passing by very fast!!! Not a pleasant experience for a KOA

Our site was in a puddle of mud… and we were so close to the neighbours… there were many other sites available and they gave us a crappy one. The guy driving us to our site should have decided to move us… very unhappy. Then it rained…imagine the bigger puddle of mud. We had to clean all the trailer afterwards .

What a neat campground! Incredible scenery, good amenities and lovely grounds. Although the dog park didn’t seem to be finished there were lots of grassy places to walk the beasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a nice, laid back place.

The Scenery, right by Devil's Tower was Amazing!! The Lady, Linda, at check-in & driver, Bill, leading us to our camp spot for overnight were GREAT!!! Would definitely stay again & stay longer next time!! The two Helpful & friendly staff members make the stay even more Pleasant!!! Thank You to Linda & Bill!!

Easy in, easy out. Excellent WiFi. Very quiet at night, minimal light pollution. Camping in the shadow of Devils Tower only a minute or two from the National Monument entrance. Campground staff was friendly and helpful, especially so at check-in. The grounds were perfectly maintained. Full hookups excellent. This was our second stay at the Devils Tower KOA and we would willingly return.

In a word: Nice. The good: Spaces are large enough to be comfortable, although gravel vs paved - most are fairly level, common facilities are clean and tidy, well apportioned, laundry rooms are well laid out, showers are hot with excellent water pressure. There's a little book lending library outside of at least one the common facilities. Front desk team are friendly and helpful. They mentioned that they are currently working on upgrading the onsite wifi. Kamp store has touristy stuff, some gear, and I think a cafe. About a dozen camp cabins on-site in addition to the roughly a 100 camp spots and a handful of teepees that include basic beds and power, the latter seem to be getting upgrades as I'm writing this review. Minutes from Devils Tower, only a few hundred yards from the entrance gate. Site 100 (the patio pull thru where we stayed) is beautiful and prime real estate for sitting and sipping coffee and staring at/taking pics of the tower and the red bed cliffs. Plus you'll meet other campers if you just wanna say hi as they are passing by and taking their own pics of the tower. The Meh: Not much to say here: the roads inside the campground are gravel and we arrived right after a rain, so we picked up a little dirt on our rig, however everything was dry by the next day and the dirt will come off easily enough. Overall: We'll definitely be back and we'll definitely stay here again.
