From I-5 Exit 230 to Hwy 20 East and follow approx 23 miles to Russell Rd. Take a left and go straight ahead approx 1/2 mile to KOA. From Winthrop on Hwy 20 go thru Concrete past Red Apple grocery store 4.7 miles, turn right on Russell Rd. Then straight ahead. Not around curved road.

Enjoy a beautiful natural setting at the base of Mount Baker with easy access to North Cascades National Park and Grandy Creek. Take a day trip to Bellingham, the San Juan Islands or British Columbia-the beautiful Northwest is at your disposal. This newly redesigned campground features long pull thrus (up to 90 feet) as well as tents and Kamping Kabins. Enjoy a game of mini golf, volleyball or basketball, swimming, a hayride and the new Jumping Pillow. Hike the campground trails and make new friends in the family center or at a pancake breakfast or ice cream social.

Campground Activities
North Cascade Mountains
The North Cascades Region offers many recreational opportunities that range from easy hikes to strenuous climbs; from adventurous rafting to gentle canoeing. Check the Marblemount ranger station for River rafting: 360-873-4590. There are many lakes and rivers for fishing and boating. Baker Lake, Shanon Lake, a few other lakes and trails are within 15 miles of the campground.
Horseback Riding
Call Langs Horse and Pony Farm to get the whole family a guided trail ride: 360-424-7630. Let them know you saw them on the Concrete KOA web site.
Go Cart and Family Fun Center
The Family Fun Center is located 40 minutes from the campground.
Golfing
There are several golf courses in the area. Come and stay a few days to try some of them.
Museums
Visit a variety of different kinds of museums, from Concrete all the way to Anacortes. Choices include quilt, historical, and heritage museums.
Diablo Lake
Take a trip down the Diablo Lake to the dam. See the beauty of the mountains as you travel along. Call Seattle light for reservations at 206-684-3030.
Sockeye Express
Take a ride on the Sockeye Express and listen to the history of Concrete and how it got its name. It's very enjoyable!
Whale Watching
Take a trip through the San Juan Islands from Anacortes. Catch a whale watching trip out of La Conner or Anacortes.
Eagles
Come and watch the magnificent Eagles as they soar in the sky, catch fish, or just rest along the rivers banks of the North Cascade Highway or Highway 20. It's a wonderful experience! Join in the Eagle Festival in Concrete and visit with other Eagle watchers. This event happens in the first weekend of February.
Stay in the Concrete KOA and be centrally located to everything!

Come out and treat Mom like the queen she is. Make her a special gift at craft time and be sure to bring her to breakfast on Sunday when Mom's eat free!!
May 25th-28th Memorial Day Weekend
Let's start the summer out right with 3 days of non-stop fun for all! There will be crafts, games, tie dye t-shirts, a movie on the lawn, bingo, hayrides, breakfasts and so much more. Be sure to take part in our red, white and blue parade by decorating yourself and/or your bicycle!
June 1st-3rd Pirates Weekend
Ahoy, Matey! Get ready for some swash bucklin', rib ticklin' good times! Walk the plank, if you dare, and try out the peg-leg races. We'll have a treasure hunt and craft time and finish off the weekend with a movie on the lawn.
June 8th-10th Camouflage Weekend
Bring your camo - we have the dog tags and face paint! Test your skills on our obstacle course and take part in capture the flag. Of course there will be crafts, an ice cream social and movie on the lawn. This weekend is sure to excite one and all!
June 15th-17th Father's Day
There's no better way to celebrate Dad's special day than a trip to Grandy Creek Resorts. Play trivia about how well you know your father and make a special gift for Dad at craft time. Don't miss breakfast on Sunday when Dad's eat free.
June 22th-24th Summer Solstice Weekend
Summer is officially here and at Grandy Creek we will celebrate with music by the pool, crafts, games, hayrides and a BBQ. But the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down...We'll have a movie on the lawn and free S'mores around the campfire.
June 29th-July 1st Independence Day Celebration
Let's celebrate America's birthday Grandy Creek style. We'll have traditional activities like capture the flag and bingo, craft time and tie dye t-shirts. Join us at Grandy Creek Beach for a duck race and later around the campfire for free s'mores. Don't miss the patriotic parade through the park. This action packed weekend will be fun for all!
July 6th-8th Keepin' it Green Weekend
This weekend is dedicated to Grandy Creek Resort's efforts to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. We'll have eco friendly crafts and activities and a contest for the most creative recyclling ideas. Who knew that saving the environment could be this much fun!
July 13th-15th Death by Chocolate Weekend
Eat it, slurp it, toss it and WEAR it! We'll have chocolate sundaes, a chocolate slip and slide, chocolate games and even chocolate chip pancakes. Come join the messy family fun!
July 20th-22nd Aloha Weekend
Dress up in your favorite Hawaiian attire and join us for luau games like limbo, tacky tourist relay and musical beach towels. Enjoy tropical music by the pool and don't miss the ducks as they race down Grandy Creek.
July 27th-29th Summer Olympics Weekend
We'll start the weekend off by showing the opening ceremonies of the 2012 Summer Olympics on the big screen. There will be crafts, games, an ice cream social and much more. Join us for this exciting weekend.
August 3rd-5th Circus Weekend
Come clown around during our Carnival games and face painting. The dogs in the park can show off their tricks at our dog circus. Finish off the weekend with a movie on the lawn. Let the show begin!
August 10th-12th Oldies But Goodies Weekend
It's a blast from the past at Grandy Creek Resorts. We'll have music from the past playing by the pool. Participate in a Hula Hoop contest, bubble blowing contest and balloon stomping. When evening comes, Gals, pull out your poodle skirts and saddle shoes and guys, slick back your hair and dance your socks off at our sock hop! Don't miss this journey back in time!
August 17th- 19th Mexican Fiesta
No need to go south of the border for a fiesta...just come to Grandy Creek! We'll have pinatas to burst and crafts to make and finish off the day with a fabulous taco bar and virgin margaritas!
August 24th- 26th Water Wars Weekend
Bring your water pistols, super soakers, water bombs and balloons for this event. Get ready for pool games, squirt gun wars and water balloon relays, then end the afternoon with a Super Soaker Hayride. BE PREPARED TO GET WET!
August 31st-September 3rd Labor Day Celebration
Join us for this end of the summer bash! We will have crafts, games, duck races, tie dye t-shirts, breakfasts and so much more, including our traditional red, white and blude parade through the park! In the evenings we'll have hayrides, a movie on the lawn, a flashlight lollypop hunt and free s'mores around the campfire. Don't miss out on this fun filled weekend.
October 26th-28th “Spooktacular” Weekend
A haunting weekend full of Halloween fun! Participate in our costume contest, pumpkin carving contest and site decorating contest. Trick-or-treat all over the park, come along for a frightening ride on our haunted hay ride, then make your way through our spooktacular haunted house. Join us if you dare, for a Halloween scare!
