A group of 22 showed up at this campground and found out that one of the RVs wouldn't be able to have electricity due to a "cancellation" that we did... none of us cancelled any sites. The hot tub was closed the whole stay and the pool was ice cold. Management very rude.

Kampground was well maintained. Employees were very friendly also. The gound was very sandy/rocky so difficult to pitch tent on our site. The train whistle all night wasn't the best either!

- slept poorly as trains tooted horns several times throughout the night. -staff were friendly but may not have enough staff working on site. Campsite was not cleaned up from previous campers, ie dog feces, fire pit had junk in it. Showers could have used better cleanings as thick soap coated the lower parts of the shower stall

Although it was a rainy weekend, we were very impressed with the facilities. All of the buildings were very clean. I loved how the tents, campers, and cabins were mixed throughout the campground. We came to Duluth for Grandma's Marathon and all the hotels were booked, so we decided to check out the KOA. Our entire party decided that we preferred the KOA to a hotel! Very pleased, thank you!!

It is the second time we have stayed here. We found out two hours before we arrived that my son and his friends were staying here too. It is in a great location for a lot of our activities.

About the only improvement I could think of would be a little more gravel on the drives or pave everything. Otherwise, everything seemed to be in working order, clean and well kept. We had a torrential downpour so we know the campground must be graded well enough to avoid flooding.

Very nicely kept campground and great facilities. However, SO MANY trains. We counted at least 3 at night, and 5 in the early morning hours. Not sure why a campground adjacent to very active railroad tracks was a good idea. Also, the hot tub is drained and cleaned every night, which is good, but bad if you'd like it hot in the evenings. And it only holds about 3 adults comfortably.

While on a vaca in MT, a retired couple told us this (Cloquet KOA) was the best campground they'd stayed at. We checked it out this weekend and couldn't agree more! Clean, well run, quiet, well kept sites and very responsive staff. Awesome!

railroad was disruptive and limited areas to walk pets. Staff was helpful.

Had a really great time, the only thing that I would recommend is not packing in so many people. Our "neighbors" were very loud, up late and then early at 5:30 am with crying kids.

It was a great stay. The facilities were nice and the staff were friendly. One improvement would be the dog walk area. It was lacking, and along a railroad track, which didn't seem all that safe. Other than that, it was a great stay.

Staff was rude, they filled up the hot tub with cold water making it only warm. Swimming pool was freezing cold thought the place was half added. would not recommend it

Love Barb and Bill - they're like family. Very friendly. KOA is always clean and they let us know if bad weather is coming since we're in a tent. They're quick to take care of our needs; garbage, firewood, directions. We'll be back.

We spent 3 nights at this KOA and had an excellent experience. We're used to staying at state parks, so we were not expecting such great customer service. When you bought firewood, they would actually deliver it to your site. The laundry appliances were nice and new too! They also had plenty of activities for the kids.

The campgrounds were very clean, there are things to do for the younger kids and the staff was nice. The sites are located very closely, there really is no privacy. I was disappointed that the neighbors, allowed their children to yell endlessly, without respect for how it impacted others experience. The place is fine if you have younger kids but we wouldn't stay again.

Fun campground for families. Pros: Very clean, friendly staff, fun activities for kids (floating lanterns, hayrides, scavenger hunt etc.) nice bathroom/shower facilities, pool & hot tub, stocked convenience store, complimentary coffee. Cons: Bad coffee (but free!, loud train/whistle traveling very near the campground multiple times per night, playground could use some maintenance. Overall great

we had a great time. Nice campground and amenities. The train horn that is blown several times a night suck when your camping in a tent but not much we can do about that. Will return next year.
