We love the halloween weekends - we have been coming for the past three years. It is so festive, welcoming and fun for everyone! Staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful. Grounds are clean and well kept.

The fall festivities never disappoint! The campground is clean and decorated for the season. Lots of fun activities for the kids like trick or treating, making magical pumpkins, games, scavenger hunts, wagon rides etc. This has become a tradition for our family!

Great employees, great environment. Friendly all around. Some things need to be updated, but otherwise it's all good. Store needs to be better stocked. Great place for kids, lots of activities.

The laundry room was superb. It was overall a cool looking place and the after hours check in was flawless. My complaints are twofold. Site 111 is on a hill and that was a HUGE frustration for the premium site it is sold as that was a bad site, plain and simple. Second, site 111 had very low water pressure. In addition, the water was yellow in color and had a pungent odor and taste to it.

Well maintained. However there is only 1 lane in and out. Not sure what you do if someone coming. Space was good because we could back into adjacent inside lane to avoid vehicles parked with rigs in front of us.

This is a great location for popping into the northern Chicago suburbs to visit family. Facilities were in good order, and I could see that there are lots of things for families to do here in the regular season.

Our stay was awesome! The staff was so friendly and caring, our site was perfect and shady, the facilities were super clean and the kids had a blast with all the fall activities that were planned. We will definitely be making this a yearly tradition with our friends!

Site 117 had a lot of trash on it that I had to clean up myself and it has a really uneven ground to walk on.

Sites trop étroits! Impossible de faire un feu car possibilité d’abîmer le camion du voisin . Pour prendre de l’eau, il fallait que je fasse attention pour ne pas arroser les objets de l’autre voisin.

Location of campsite was convenient. The fam. Shower room was great! But the smell of the water was just terrible. Feel like my husband & myself stunk more after shower. And there was dog poop on the gravel, on the grass. We left half hr. Past 11am .cleaning our mats, due to poop ��on them.Could not put mats in truck in that Condition. We usually love KOA'S

We were welcomed and shown to our spot. That was great. We requested our widowed sister who was traveling with us to be parked next to us. She was 7 spots away from us. We requested a change from the lady who showed us our spot. Her attitude changed and became rude. She said we can go to the office tomorrow and change it. There were lots of spots by us that a change could have been made immediate.

Very nice park in the Chicagoland area. It was disappointing that the park is still operating in pandemic mode. We missed visiting with the owners.

The kids did not appreciate the creepy Halloween decorations in mid-September. Overall the campground was okay, but consider toning down the decorations.

This was our third stay with this KOA location. We have stayed at several others, most don’t compare to Chicago Northwest KOA. The staff is so friendly and do whatever they can to make your stay pleasant and enjoyable. Everyday the staff is out checking on campers and making sure their KOA campsite is clean and in working order. I will definitely be back to this location.

Great Park, lots to do for the kids. Tight roads and spots, narrow roads. Key drop off box is very inconvenient. For people in their rigs already and trying to exit. Current system is that somebody has to exit the RV and walk over to the building and deposit. The key box should be a keybox at truck/rv level on the way out so no one has to exit RV A post on the way out.

All good but one thing is the dump site. There was just a cut off hose without a garden hose connection to hook up to my tank flush. Would like to see this next time please.

Very nice KOA. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a severe thunderstorm warning and they kept us informed via text message. They really take care of their campers. Thank you!

This campground is very clean and well laid out and the staff is friendly. The operator of the campground keeps guests well-informed of upcoming activities, and available deals at the store. Best of all was the communication about pending bad weather. This gave ample time to secure items that could blow away and bring the aunings in.
