Local Area Recreation Near Butte KOA Journey

Southwest Montana is an outdoor enthusiasts dream come true.  Located at the intersection of Interstates 15 and 90, Butte is perfectly located to access it all.  Within 30 minutes, guests of the Butte KOA can be on one of the many world-class, blue-ribbon fishing streams where trout eagerly await the daily hatch.  The Continental Divide trail runs thru Butte, so If hiking and biking is your passion, we have you covered!  Prefer craft beer brewed from mountain springs? Yep! We have that, too.  If your tastes are more in tune with strolling a Farmer's Market in the morning, and taking a scenic afternoon drive in search of wildlife and BBQ....you guessed it, we can show you the way.  By now, you most likely have figured it out.....Butte offers something for almost everyone.

Guests can bike one of the many single track trails near the campground, or head out and try a section of the Great Divide route, which runs thru Butte. Another option is to hire LinkedAdventures to shuttle you a bit farther afield.  No matter your cycling needs, we can offer an option.  One word of caution....most of your options are at or above 5,000 ft, so be mentally prepared for less oxygen.
