Come camp with us in the 'prettiest part' of Tennessee and celebrate kids and camping . A complete camping experience awaits you in our award winning park. Part of the celebration of camping will be Ms. Anns Pony rides, weekly movies and popcorn, new crafts and activities. We are looking forward to the 2012 camping season. Come join us and see for yourself why we are such an award winning campground. Enjoy live entertainment, DJ, dance contests, crafts, crazy games, tournaments, t-shirt decorating and more. It's fun for kids of all ages. - The first in Tennessee, come see why 'PILLOW POWER"' is a hit with kids of all ages. Hay rides - through the campground and ending up at one of our Ice Cream Socials or Special Surprise Socials every Saturday. KOA Cafe - Feeling hungry? Jonesborough’s Historic District

This is Tennessee’s oldest town. This building, built in 1779, depict the lifestyle of early frontier days. Come enjoy carriage rides, walking tours, guided tours and home tours. Located in historic Jonesborough, Tennessee.

Bristol Caverns

Far below the earth's surface, in the timeless beauty of Bristol Caverns, a strange and exciting experience awaits you. These winding paths and breathtaking scenery were once used by Indians as an attack and escape route. Located in Bristol, TN.

Buckeye Falls

The highest breathtaking waterfall located east of the Rockies, measuring 700 feet from top to bottom. Located in Erwin, TN.

B. Carroll Reese Museum

Exhibits include antique musical items, a collection of Tennessee artifacts and B. Carroll Reese memorabilia. Located in Johnson City, TN.

Carter Family Fold and Museum

Since 1974, the non-profit Carter Music Center has presented programs of old time and bluegrass music every weekend. Formally established in 1979, the Center's objective is to promote old-time music and pay tribute to the Original Carter Family (A.P Carter, Sara Carter, and Maybelle Carter).

Davy Crockett Birthplace State Park

See 65 partially wooded acres of land that offers a Visitors Center, museum, picnicking, fishing, hiking and walking trails, and swimming. Located in Limestone, TN.

The Depot Museum

The charming 1890-s depot-turned-museum highlights Rogersville’s historic printing industry and serves as a visitor information center for the city. Located in Rogersville, TN.

Dickson-Williams Mansion

Come see the "Showplace of East Tennessee" that was built in 1815. Registered guests included Davy Crockett, James K. Polk, Andrew Jackson and Confederate General John Hunt Morgan. Located in Greeneville, TN.

Doe River Covered Bridge

This 1882 bridge is one of the few covered bridges in Tennessee. Located in Elizabethton, TN

Farmhouse Gallery and Gardens

Features include collector prints, wood carvings, dried flowers and other gift items, as well as historical artifacts found in the area. Walking trails take you through the state’s largest perennial and wildflower display gardens and excellent wildlife observation areas. Located in Unicoi, TN

Andrew Johnson National Historic Site

Site includes tailor shop, 1830’s Johnson House Museum, and the Homestead in which he lived from 1851 until his death in 1875. Located in Greeneville, TN.

Appalachian Caverns

Stroll along lighted walkways and discover formations ranging from delicate helictites to towering columns which decorate Appalachian Caverns, Northeast Tennessee's largest commercial caverns. Located in Blountville, TN.

Archie Campbell Tourism Complex

Built by Grand Ole Opry Star Archie Campbell in his hometown, the 27 buildings in the complex include the Old Country Store, Gilley’s Hotel and the Archie Campbell Museum. Located in Bulls Gap, TN.

Netherland Inn

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the fully restored, three-story architectural "gem" is filled with period furnishings that depict an intimate study of life in one of the South’s most important American frontier settlements. The Netherland Inn located on the Old Stage Road in the heart of Kingsport’s Boat Yard Park.

Birthplace of Country Music Alliance

The mountains of Appalachia have long been recognized as a fertile breeding ground for music, as a variety of traditions - Anglo and African, Urban and Rural, Popular and Folk - were fused together to form a distinctive style of music. Bays Mountain Park and Planetarium

Bays Mountain is a nature preserve owned and operated by the city of Kingsport, Tennessee. The facilities include the 3000 acre outdoor classroom, a 44 acre lake, and a nature center/museum, inside of which is a planetarium with a 40 foot diameter dome. The park programs are an integral part of the curriculum of local school children, and in recent years the park has assumed regional importance, with students from 33 counties in 5 states currently attending.

Biltmore Estate and Biltmore House

America’s largest home is the centerpiece of Biltmore Estate. George Vanderbilt - the youngest son of an American family famous for its wealth - opened his country retreat in 1895. His guests marveled at this magnificent residence containing 34 bedrooms, 43 bathrooms, and 65 fireplaces covering four acres of floor space.

Exchange Place

The Preston Farm recaptures life in the early 1800’s. Demonstrations like washing, spinning, weaving, ironing, quilting, candle dipping and basketry are held frequently. Open for tours and by special arrangement for hosting events. Located in Kingsport, TN.

East Tennessee State University and General Shale Brick - Natural History Museum and Visitor Center at the Gray Fossil Site

The Gray Fossil Site was discovered in May 2000 by Highway crews during a routine Tennessee Department of Transportation road-widening project. Scientists believe the site was formed by the collapse of an underground limestone cave. It formed a sinkhole that was used as a watering hole by animals from near and far. The Gray Fossil Site was a thriving ecosystem at the end of the Miocene epoch, approximately 4.5-7 million years ago. For further information, visit www.grayfossilmuseum.org.

Historic Abingdon, Virginia has lots of wonderful places to visit, and perhaps the most popular of all of them is the Barter Theatre. Ever since the Barter Theatre was designated the State Theatre Of Virginia way back in 1946, people have visited Abingdon from far and wide just to take in a performance from her world-famous stage.

With Memorial day right around the corner make sure you get your spot at the Bristol/Kingsport KOA!
We will be having our grand opening for this years swimming season! A cook-out, pony rides, planned activities, craft time, free pancake breakfast and so much more! Come and help us kick off this 2012 summer season with a BANG! You don't want to miss it!

Day passes are available for $ 5.00 per person. This gives you access to our swimming pool, our planned activities, craft hour, free pancake breakfast, gem mining, tye dying, pony rides and much more!
