Golf

There are a dozen golf courses in the area ranging from very challenging to average difficulty. Nine, eighteen, twenty-seven holes or just the driving range to practice those hole in one shots. All located five to thirty minutes driving time from the campground.

Fishing

Charter a fishing trip out of Anacortes or LaConner, plenty of lake and stream fishing nearby or take the kids trout fishing at the “Trout-U Catch’em Farm.”

Skagit Valley Casino

Features all of your favorite games including slots, bingo, blackjack, poker and fine dining. Located 1.5 miles form the campground.

Scenic Drives

Scenic drives include Chuchanut Drive, the North Cascades Pass and Deception Pass.

Skagit Speedway

See the Northwest’s most exciting sprint car dirt track racing, April through September. Some of the event include Super Dirt Cup and Thunder in the Valley.

Shopping

Burlington boasts some of the finest shopping in the State at the Cascade and Outlet Malls.

Horse Back Riding

Take the family horse back riding at Langs Pony and Horse Farm.

Lake Whatcom Railway

The Lake Whatcom Railway is a dedicated living preservation of the Pacific Northwest’s railway heritage. The coaches date to the early part of the century and were used for many years on Northern Pacific Passenger Trains out of Seattle.

Kayaking

Explore the San Juan Islands. Sea kayaking provides a quiet fun way to explore marine life.

Hiking

There are many many miles of trails for every level of hiker. Choose an easy picnic hike or gear up for the Pacific Crest Trail.

Berry Picking

If you like plump, juicy blackberries, they can be picked right on the campground property (mid August to mid September).
