upon making my reservation via phone, I requested a satellite site so we could utilize our satellite TV for our 6 night stay. However we were given a site with tall trees surrounding the campsite. Making the TV setup useless. You will never post this on your website!!

Reservation messed up for the second time this year. Advertised events were cancelled with no explanation. Wagon ride was cut short due to tractor having a problem. We were told they had know idea this many people would attend. How can that be ? You stated you were sold out. Math would tell you what to expect. That's just bad management. The new management has been horrible.

We enjoy the Halloween weekend alot, it is our favorite time at the campground!! It was fun walking around and checking out all the decorated sites, carving pumpkins, trick or treat and hanging out with family. This event was well organized. You guys did a great job!!

It was a wonderful stay. I feel that the Halloween celebration this year was much better than last year! Only thing I would add is a DJ like in previous years! Great weekend!

We had a great stay at Thompson koa. Was there for one of the Halloween weekends. Will def be back next yr! Very nice campground. Clean campground and very friendly staff. Had a wonderful time!

Stayed in a cabin, unit was clean and area around cabin was well maintained. Multiple activities for kids and adults. Staff friendly and helpful.

Overall, very nice stay and would come back. Staff was pleasant, grounds were nice (except for a few overgrown seasonal sites), campers were mostly respectful and fun activities on a Halloween weekend. Would like a few activities for older kids (14-15). Didn't like UTVs that passed through a couple of times, loud campsite a few down from us and teens on golf carts playing music after midnight!

I’d give it more like 41/2 stars. We love it there and are hoping to get in as a seasonal next year. We had tons of fun trick or treating with our granddaughter and the staff is always very friendly. I wish the speed limits and quiet time was better enforced though. That’s my only complaint.

My kids and grandkids stay in LS1, and I booked it for them for Halloween #1 weekend. And as always, the campground delivered. A good time was had by all and they will be back next weekend and next year.

PARK WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! SO MUCH FUN, SO MANY ACTIVITIES FOR THE KIDS; WE HAD A BLAST! WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Well now another manager and things continue to get worse! Not only kids driving golf carts but now side by sides. This used to be a great place And the shower house along A line is still locked. That’s 2 years now

We were there this past weekend camping with friends of ours and we were in g and they were in a so we barely got to see our friends and the kids did lots of activities thank you for those and the sand on g6 was horrible we have to empty our entire camper to get all the sand out!

Peaceful and beautiful spot, friendly staff. We had a gazebo/patio site and it was very spacious. Very convenient on/off from I-90.

Staff was super friendly. This is a nice place to stay, we enjoyed the decor. If staying at the 30amp back in sites - I would maybe pay for a better spot as they are very tight and uneven.

Loved this park. It is very large, many places to walk your dog. Great playground for the kids. All the people were so nice and helpful. And the sites are huge. You have ample room between sites so you have great privacy. We will return!

First time at a KOA. We tent camped. The entire campground is picturesque and very well maintained. Friendly staff. Thompson Ledges near and a little restaurant. Would stay again!

We almost did not stop at this KOA because of some of the reviews; however, decided we needed to stop for the night and take our chances. We are sooo glad we did. yes, there was a gravel mile road to get to the KOA, but you should NOT worry and the camping is WORTH the short drive. Sites were clean and campground is well taken care of. We would not only come back, but stay longer.

We have camped here before. The camp staff are very friendly and helpful. The lakeside patio spots are very nice. The camp staff were helping a camper that had lost their keys actually checking the roads around their camp looking for the keys above and beyond customer service !!!!!

The site we were assigned was no way could we level our camper . The camper was raised as far as the tongue jack could go and the camper was still low on front. We did ask if we could change sites to the one across from us and the office person said it was ok. Other wise the camp ground was good. This is the second time we have stayed there.

I enjoyed the the campground as a whole. The sites are nice, we set up at a tent site which gave us plenty of room and just what we needed. Everything is a short walk from each site and the staff is friendly and helpful. Only take away is if possible the bathrooms/shower facilities need a little upgrade but they did the job as needed. Over all happy with the stay will be back again.

Very friendly and welcoming at check in. Nice quite location for us. Dog friendly, WiFi was great to watch a ball game! Very well cared for campground, nice amenities! We'll be back!

Hi, we stayed in cabin 3, was clean and beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Wood bundle was nice bonus. .A microwave would of been nice. Cheaper golf cart rentals by hour maybe ten bucks an hour. Thank you !

To be clear, this is a KOA, not a hotel. When I rate the rooms here, I refer to the sites. I have NOT stayed in their cabins. This KOA is under new ownership this year and so far it seems great. We camped here a few times last year as weekend visitors. The sites are nice, well-maintained, and reasonably private for a KOA. This year, we have returned as “permanent” campers at a dedicated site. Having camped at dozens of other places over the last several years, we did not choose this KOA as a permanent location without considerable research and discussion. The staff is immediately helpful upon arrival and keeps up a high standard of service over the entire stay. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The camp store is nicely stocked and maintained as are the amenities such as the heated pool, the swimming pond, and fishing pond. The camp site we have is nice and level enough that I was easily able to level my RV in all directions pretty quickly. We have a nice fire pit and plenty of space for my family and dogs. We are close to the nice showers and bathrooms. Though we will not likely use them often, it is nice that they are clean and available. The water, power, and sewer hookups are in good shape and I have no concerns about them. As for location, this campground seems to be pretty quiet and amongst a very wooded area. There is a small amount of gravel road leading up to the campground regardless of the direction you come in, but the road seems to be very well-maintained and has caused us no concerns so far. We like that it is isolated, but other needs are close enough if we want them. Within a few minutes, you can get to a hardware store, many food options, and other needs likely to arise when camping…especially wineries/distilleries. Lots of wineries and such are very close. Overall, this is a great KOA to visit or stay a season. I hope you and your guests are able to enjoy this area and this campground is a great place to start!

So we went Off season to visit for a night with the dog and the baby. The site was well maintained, clean and off city. The new owners were super Friendly new. We had a nice cosy and Quiet night. Just what we needed. Grocery stores and all needs are within 15 minutes from site.
