Even though the weather stunk, rained 2 out of the 3 days, we still had a great time. Everyone was do nice ! The bartenders and staff are super friendly and we can't wait to go back next year !!

We have been camping at Vail Lake for 10 years during Easter and Halloween and love it. The updates that have been to some of the camping sites are incredible. The staff has always been incredibly welcoming and accommodating. The only downfall we experienced was that we were notified we might not get the same camping spot our group has been in during Easter weekend for the past 10 years.

We always love coming back to Vail throughout the year. Disappointed with our spot couldnt open out awning due to the oak tree in front of our door. We reserved our sites a year ago and wasnt even anything close to what we reserved/asked for.

Always have a great stay! Only recommendation is consistency in booking. We stay every November and April and it seems that the process changes every time which makes it difficult.

The campground was very nice: beautiful, large oak trees and lush grounds with large sites. Heated pool was a plus for the kids. Next time we'll rent the golf cart to do more exploring; grounds are very large.

Great stay. Thank you for letting the big kids do the egg hunt in the rain! Recommendation- playground structure for little kids (2-5) near the village. The big kids have lots of activities but a playground would be great for the younger ones!

We were unaware that the campground mostly caters to campers with golf carts playing loud music at their campgrounds. It was also a bit disappointing that only one device got Wi-Fi.

Weekdays were great, quiet, not too many people, friday night was party night, generators running until midnight people talking, laughing, puking, finally quiet about 2am, then about 5:30 someone started a generator. If like quiet this is not the place.

When we checked in we were met with rudeness because the attendant couldn’t find our reservation. Then during the night a water pipe by the restroom broke & they were working on it until midnight with tractors that were loud. In the morning we found out the whole campsite had no running water so the restrooms were inaccessible & backed-up.

It was great. Beautiful view. I was very Disappointed that we had to pay extra to hold our spot when I made my reservation months in advance. Another guest told me no one even asked him if he wanted to pay extra they just gave him the spot he wanted .

This was our very first camping trip as a family. We had an easy time finding our site, it was clean and had a great view. We spoke to the owner one day at the cafe. He was so friendly and welcoming. He recommended we take a walk to the lake and gave us some safety tips as well. We will come back.

It is our favorite place to get away from home for 3-4 days. In an hours drive we can be relaxing at our favorite campsite. Folks are very friendly and helpful. Feel very secure there. Met other folks there who came from 25 miles from home to camp there. And, they said they will be back.

This was our first time staying in the cabin and it was a very nice experience. We stayed in the back area and had a nice view. It was quiet and relaxing. It felt very private. The WiFi didn’t work well which made it difficult to work remotely. The Cafe was unable to operate their “Spring Break hours” and closed unexpectedly early. A text regarding the closure would’ve been appreciated.

Great stay. Especially in Oak sector with large trees, spacious sites. Would say however the bathroom, shower were poor physical shape. Ceiling falling, doors don't close. Bathroom is not heated, so a shower at 0630 and 45° outside was freezing.

Beautiful place to stay. RV sites are spacious and have plenty of shade from the trees. Staff are friendly and professional. All of the accommodations exceeded expectations. We’ll definitely return next year for a full week.

I was disappointed with this KOA stay, the campsite are incredibly FAR from the rest of the camp and fun activities. It would take 10-15 minutes to walk to the camp store. The bathrooms were pretty poor. Wood peckers are inside the walls hammering away while you shower. And the lights weren’t even on in the bathroom nearest to us our first night. Great camp sites. Clean and convenient. Lots of activities for the family. Need to redo the mini golf course. Also noticed a lot of people have mini crawler RC cars. Add an indoor or out door rock crawler course.

One of the best campgrounds out there! Spaces that are relatively level and easy to get in and out of, a fantastic pool for the kids (and adults), and don’t forget the drink cart! Having the food cart rental was an added bonus, and I really appreciated that the pricing at the cafe was very reasonable. In fact, some of the prices were less than I would have paid off the premises.

The three nights we spent there were very expensive considering the place to park was not flat and the bath and showers are old and rundown. They were fairly clean but not even one mirror in the restroom. We parked as best we could but kept sliding to one end of the sleeping bag in the van. Each night cost more than two nights that we stayed in a good motel, with breakfast, the week before.

Vail lake cmpgrnd is a cool spot. Mtn bike trails are dreamy. Staff is nice, bathrooms are clean. We upgraded to a premium site. Our site is supposed to come with a gas grill. Called front desk, said they’d send someone over, talked to a yellow jacket, they said they’d look into it. Nothing happened. Borrowed the one from next site. Had a great time and will definitely be coming back. The sites in arroyo secco have beautiful trees and we could hear the frogs at night. So many amenities to keep us entertained and we could get everywhere on bike. Wish the disc golf course was larger or better identified (we could only find 3 baskets by the pool).

Fire pit was full of ash. The entire campsite needed to be raked and the road in the oaks is in need of repair. But the rest of the park looked good. I won't book the oaks back in spot until road is fixed.

We had a great time for the USPRO Cup MTB race. The Bathrooms could use a bit of building maintenance and little refreshing, but they were clean and in good operations.

We had no issues other than an extremely bent water pipe and old electric hook up where you couldn’t see the switch or plug without getting down on the ground and looking underneath or using your phone. Cost of $91/night was too high for unimproved site.

Love this camp ground for the venue...we have camped here for the past 2 years for the US Pro Cup MTB racing that is held at Vail Lake and enjoyed it. We are usually camping down in the Arroyo area, the wifi is not consistent and even worse when the camp grounds fill up. Not that wifi is needed when camping! There is a great little restaurant and BunkHouse bar by the main little grocery store.

The Temecula koa area is beautiful. The bike trails and access to the lake are top notch. However much of the amenities in the koa are run down. The mini golf course is in laughably bad shape. The pickle ball court it beat up. We stayed in the cabins. For 390 a night, quite a steep rate for its condition. Our cabin AC went out. There were ants in the cabin and it definitely could have been cleaner

They are making many improvements to the park since we started staying there. We stay in the Oaks section but now that they are fixing up other areas with hookups and patios, we will be looking to stay at other areas of the park. Very friendly staff. Very enjoyable stay.

Best campground was beautifully designed to accommodate lots of campers in such a way that I never felt crowded. Its main draw is ebike mountain and track. The trails were furiously busy with all kinds of bikers who were courteous and safe in their behaviors. The park had a beautiful large pool it was near a scenic very pretty lake. They offered lots of activities for families including a tethered hot-air balloon. There is a camp store, Cafe and bar. Prices were reasonable and service was cheerful. Campgrounds were never noisy at night and there was ample room for children to play in various areas. Showers, laundry facilities and restrooms were ample and very clean. At night and various times through the day there was entertainment but never noisy or disruptive.
