Check out or deluxe cabins for lodging. You're planning a trip to Glacier...don't stay in a boring hotel room!
This campground resort is perfectly located for quick and easy access to Glacier National Park. Panoramic views from your campsite provide a backdrop of towering glacial carved valleys and peaks. Those in the "know" will tell you the best hiking and sightseeing are on the east side so pick up lunch fixings at the KOA grocery store and gift shop, then board a Glacier tour bus at the campground entrance or hit the trails to the remote backcountry. If you want to give your dog a day off while you explore, your hosts offer pet sitting. Put your feet up and enjoy this relaxing resort atmosphere while you hone your putting skills, play bocce or enjoy the new swimming pool and hot tub complex. Rent a kayak and explore the wilds of Lower St. Mary Lake and River. The AOK Grill serves up breakfasts, pizzas and dinners daily from mid-June to September.

Our goal has always been to provide the best campground for our guests while preserving the wild and natural environment that makes Glacier Park one of the last wilderness areas in the world. St. Mary Lake is ideal for an early morning outing to discover the beauty and wildness of Glacier Park and the surrounding area. Rent a canoe or kayak or bring your own. You will discover why this KOA consistently wins awards for being one of the top 10 best canoe/kayak spots in the US.

The east side of Glacier Park is a hiker's Mecca for quick access to the most scenic hikes in Glacier.

Whitewater trips are a wonderful adventure. The Great Northern Raft Company provides a great opportunity for all to enjoy the river, especially families with small children or senior citizens. Lose yourself in the natural reflections of the river, sky and sun. Highlight your experience by venturing into a quiet natural world of wildlife, such as deer, elk, beaver, herons, ducks, geese and raptors like osprey and bald eagles. Your experienced, friendly guide will share the colorful heritage of our early settlers and the history of the river.
Horseback Riding
A vacation to Montana would not be complete without horseback riding. Swan Mountain Outfitters offers guided horseback tours in Glacier Park and Montana Ranch Adventures offers a more ranch-type experience just outside the Park, but with the scenic backdrop of Glacier Park during the entire ride.

Boat Tours
Boat Tours offer something for everyone. Experience Glacier's awesome majesty on the scenic boat tour with Glacier Park Boat Company . Step onto the historic boat and let them glide across beautiful alpine lakes nestled among majestic peaks. The skilled crew provides a commentary on all of the lake cruises. They also offer small boat rentals for those who choose to chart their own course. Located at Many Glacier, Rising Sun at St. Mary Lake, Lake McDonald and Two Medicine.
North American Indian Days and Pow Wow
The St. Mary - East Glacier Park KOA is located on Blackfeet Tribal land. We highly recommend scheduling your vacation so that you can attend the North American Indian Days and Pow Wow in early July. Guided bus tours of the famous Going-to-the-Sun Road are a perfect way for any one to see Glacier Park. Ride in the historic red Jammer buses or enjoy the modern bus and Native American perspective of the Sun Tours.

Glacier Park Historic Chalets
Glacier Park has two historic chalets that are available for hikers. Granite Park Chalet has a more rustic appeal and Sperry Chalet is slightly more upscale, but still they are hiker chalets. Glacier Wilderness Guides offer guided hikes in the Park and guided fishing. Make reservations early.
