Officials at Glacier National Park announced this week there will be a ticketed entry system to help manage traffic congestion on the Going to the Sun Road corridor. Don't panic. You can purchase a $2 ticket for 7 days admission up to 60 days in advance. We highly encourage to mark the 60-day date on your calendar and purchase one. Click HERE for the Park's press release detailing the new system. One thing we would suggest is to not purchase the ticket for the day you plan on arriving at the KOA, but instead maybe the next day because if you don't pick up the ticket on your reserved date, you lose the reservation.
If you're totally confused give us a call, but this little announcement by the Park has deluged us with phone calls and we're having a hard time getting back to everyone. Please carefully read the press release as it clearly explains the process.
That doesn't mean this area has to always be empty. When you start reviewing camping options, your history will display here to help compare sites and find the best stay. You will be able to share your stay information with friends or family and save it for a later time if you have a KOA Account.
